Help with horrible understeer with GT-R 07

You're probably spinning the front tyres and getting understeer. You can pivet the car better with more rear drive. My r32 GTR is actually 10/90.

Interesting, wouldn't you want it more even so the front end pulls through better? or is that what's causing the understeer? :s

its whats causing it the front suspension of the car extends under heavy throttle making it harder to steer hard to explain

Run more front camber on the suspension, try up to 4*. I have a high power GTR that I will be tuning for track, need more seat time with it though.

Is it under-steering going into a turn or coming out of a turn?
But in general, if you think you the under-steer is the result of too little grip at the front, try increasing the front down force.
You may also might want to increase the front brake bias.

im having the understeer while accelerating out of corner. anyway round that problem?

Try stiffening the rear suspension axtray, that should help. Other options could be to lower the effect of the LSD or reducing the front brake bias.

some of this has been previously stated in this thread...

with front or all wheel drive and lots of power you're going to understeer while accelerating. the best you can do is tweak the LSD's acceleration sensitivity to optimize the outside tire's ability to rotate the car. that and really control your throttle.

it's better in an AWD drive car to set as much power to the rear wheels as possible in hopes that they will break loose before the fronts do. I usually set my front torque split anywhere between minimum and 28%.

Otherwise, trail-brake to rotate the car mid corner so you can full-throttle out.

Cheers
