Be happy with bronze :)

After about 30min of trying, I'm still about 1.4sec off the target time. It's my last RedBull X challenge :(

Hi,
I don't consider my self to be good at racing games or any games really which is why I was really happy to get a gold on here. My advice would be to try to brake as little as possible. Where possible try to turn more instead of braking. At the corner just before the straight you really don't need to brake much just a small dab need the end of the braking line and then let the car flow through the corner. Also you can go over the left hand chicane but some think of this as cheating so it's your call.

I used settings: skid recovery:on abs:10. Everything else off
Don't know why this abs setting worked but it did.

Learn the car better, there is no other way around it, a slow driver is cause of his lack of confidence in the potential of his car either cause A) he does not have a firm grasp of how far a cars can be pushed in general or B) Doesn't have a firm grasp on how a particular car can be pushed. Assuming you are following standard racing line and practices for a a quick time..its just a matter of learning the limits of the car.

well i stuck too on suzuka :P
time is right... but the lap 2 makes me the most problems... often crashed out after a 1.05 first lap

but its possible...

Your first time needs to be in the region of 28.2 to.5xx for gold the next time needs to be around 52.2 to .5xx 2nd lap you need 1 secound less or so on these times. Full 1st lap time 1.05.5xx is possible to gold above this requires a good 2nd lap .. This took me ages to do as i couldn't figure where i lost time. ( it was on the left handers about 2 thirds through the course after the hairpin, and the chicane , try to break smoothly just before the overhead sign at the chicane and you should glide through) Plus wherever possible full throttle and really throw the car around the course, break gently too except the hairpin and chicane. Maybe this guy's video could help ? .. https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=154480

Yeah, there's no room for error on Suzuka. Push the car until you find it's limits on every corner.

18 words describing exactly what you should do! 👍

FINALLY got it on Suzuka tonight, with a little over 1sec to spare :)

As skylinefx says, you basically have to go through and make sure you know every corner's braking (or turning) points and try to put together a whole lap of them. It's difficult, but I think I did it within a couple dozen tries :p
