There are some guaranteed trix I like to do that will make your car drift when all else fails.

1. Turn the camber on the back wheels out more. Usually, I have it turned out anywhere from 2.0° to 3.0° if I have a car that stubbornly will not drift. You can use this trick with RWD or 4WD cars, but it doesn't work so reliably with FWD.

2. Set the rear brakes higher than the front. If you do this, what happens is that when you brake, your rear wheels will try to lock up. You can induce drifting or power slides this way. With front-drive cars, you can also use the emergen-c brake sparingly and actually get lower lap times if you're good at it.

3. Make the rear suspension stiffer. Set the dampers high...as well as stabilizers. This works especially well at tracks with high-banked curves like at Red Rock Speedway. Your car will bounce around more, and automatically get sideways sometimes.

4. Last but not least: you can always use street tires or simulation tires or sport tires! Your speed and lapt times will suffer, but you'll get lots of drifting and slides! You can also try a combination of Soft slick tires up front and hard ones in the back.
