Ok here’s the deal! I have a national race coming up in 8 weeks, and according to the previous owner of the kart, it should do well. He said that I could run top 3 in my class, and a win could even be possible. I need about $1000 for travel/hotel/food costs, but ANYTHING will help. I currently have $60 in my bank account, so I need $940 more dollars.

My plan is that I need everybody to donate a single dollar to link removed by moderator through paypal. I am going to get another job, and take as many hours as possible and make my social life pretty much non-existent in my goal to get to Camden, Ohio. I have 8 weeks and 3 days until the race in Camden. The race will take place June 28-July 1, and I can not accept anything less than getting to Camden.

Whether it's $1 to the full $1000, I will gladly accept any kind of help. I NEED TO GET TO THAT RACE! So, if you could donate or if you know anyone that could help me in any kind of way, it wouldn't physically possible to express my gratitude. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

If you have a paypall, I wouldn't see why not donate a SINGLE dollar, unfortunately I am only 14, good luck, post up some pics please!
* perhaps drive it on back roads to get there... If its as quick as you say...

if it was legal...and had suspension...and wasn't an inch off the ground, I would. according to the previous owner, the chassis should work well at that track. I do have pics from my first/previous national race where I got my first national podium, 4th place. if you'd like to see those, I could post them. and I do have a paypal account. link removed by moderator

If it wasn't an inch off, I WOULD take it, even if it's illegal, On back/old country roads, you might just look like a tester, and probably not pass many cops either.
please post your pictures, and good night
Love, Bailey...:p

lol. I've taken it on the road before, and believe me, it wasn't fun at all. my back was wrecked after the roads that I drove on. oh, and the whole imminent threat of getting ran over doesn't help, either. the top of my helmet is at my dad's kneecaps, so yea. people with big trucks = death.

There's a (really) popular DJ on radio here in Oz.
He's a s#%t head, but the plebs seem to love him all the same.
He decided to do something "fun, wacky, unexpected, revolutionary" (his words, not mine):dunce:
So he asked each listener to send in just $1, hoping to get to a million (he thought it was feasible, seeing that he's got well over that in listers).:dunce:

After a couple of weeks advertising his scheme on prime-time radio, the money came in... He got $2... from one person.:D

:indiff: I know its for a good cause, and you're not trying to be a s#%t to "get rich quick", but I don't think you'll get anything...

Good luck though. I'd love to be proved wrong on this one.:sly:

why not start it with you? I'm not relying on this to get me to Camden, but it was an idea I had, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to try. I am going to rely on my paychecks to get me there. I figured this could only help me, even if a few people donated.

I think your plan has one fatal flaw:

The cheap bastards here at GTP are highly unlikely to give any money away if it doesn't effect something their life directly. At least in my case, 85% of my money is spent on me and only me, the rest is spent on cooking a delicious dinner every once in a while. This week: Italian fried chicken with a delicious home-made Rizoto with sausage and bacon.

Huzzah!

Excelsior!

lol internet scams.

Why should I give you money when I won't see anything in return.

Greed rules.

And this is definitely not the right place to be fundraising, I'm afraid.
