Is that Walter/Wendy Carlos?

Ja. They were actually recorded as Walter (my old LPs say 'Walter'), but for the CD transfers, the new album covers say Wendy. SOB I includes a new 9-minute narration by Wendy that includes a series of experimental clips that were found on some old demo tapes from the original recording sessions.

I highly recommend the first album.

If you're really into that, you should get the Switched On Collection, which includes both Switched on Bach and the Switched on Brandenburg.



I have a pretty goof Wendy Carlos collection, including soundtracks of A Clockwork Orange, The Shining and Tron.

Hrm, I'll have to look into the Switched-On Brandenburg. Is that all 6 of them? Because the Brandenburgers are my favorite Bach pieces. Thanks for the tip.
