Well, sorta.

1) Hard drive on the Powerbook ground to a screeching halt; luckily I was able to coax most of the data off it onto another machine.

2) Overworked at work.

3) Girl Scout leaders' meeting all night.

4) Wife's company may excess her entire department.

So, not showing up as a great birthday this year. Thanks for all your best wishes! It helps.

Number 2 is typical in any aspect of the construction field. Numbers 1 and 4 really suck, especially #4 and #3 is self inflicted, although I'd bet you wouldn't stop doing it.

Ha ha. Ha. I got Switched-on Bach II as a companion piece to the Switched-on Bach CD I got for the Solstice. II adds some pieces that were missing from SOB, but overall I don't think the synthesizer voices are used quite as well. I'm glad I have it, but if you're only going to get one, the first volume is the one to have - it's great.

I also got Guit With It by Junior Brown, which prompted my new avatar/title/sig combo.
