heres a couple of trivia questions for you

1. What :mazda: models were sold in Australia under the :ford: label
2. What Australian model was sold in Japan under the :mazda: label

jees, umm, well...I hate to let you down but I really don't know, I know that some have been sold under the Ford name, as some are Ford copys, but as to which cars, I don't really know.

Just a question, are you wondering or are you quizzing me?

And I'm still half a sleep here, it's 7:06 AM, before school. I'll be back after school when I can think clearly...

Quizzing , I know the answers

WEll sorry to say, but you live there, and I don't know what they have over there. I'll guess as for the 626/Capella as one of the Mazdas under a Ford name(mondeo), and the Tribute as the Escape, and the B-series as the Ranger. As for 2., your basicly asking what model is under a Mazda name, so I'll guess Escort...that's not a good answer, but I really donno...

But I still know more about Mazda than anyone here, you just happened to ask me something I don't know...

maz kid I was just trying out your knowledge of mazda's its great to hear you admit that you dont know the answers , thats a sign of maturity admiting it . I was just trying to get some idea of you knowledge and yes you probably know a lot more about mazda than I do. but we are always learning theres a lot I know about a lot of cars ( im 44 years ) theres things you learn over the years and my knowledge of the American car industry may be good but to most american's it would seem low. we tend to take more of an interest in what is closes to you

after writing this I will post you the answers to Questions that I ask so your knowledge greater than it was before

the mazda 626 came to Australia in the Ford Label as a telstar it was avaliable in both 4 door sedan and 5 door hatch it came here about mis 80's and and stayed under the telstar label until early 90's with only the 5 door being the last model

yea thanks Jag...I know a lot of people that when there's something they don't know, they look for other answers that they think are enough to make the person asking go away, and that doesn't work with me. One of my uncles(he's goofy, he has no job responsibility(he just got in trouble for calling a costomer fat and she heard him lol, he's done this before several times) had an RX-7, and he talked to me yesterday online and he's got this thing for saying he's better than us, and he said that his RX-7 had an 11A engine, and I said that first gen RX-7s had 12As, not 11As, and he kept giving me this 11A, and then he said that it was in the manuel, and I said no it's not, and he said it's the same engine from the Cosmo, and I said no it's not, and he finally gave up and admitted he was wrong lol. It's always fun proving someone wrong, and then they give up cause they can't think of a way to get rid of you.

Anyway, I'm waiting for the answers so I know for future refrence. Thanks Jag :)

the 323 was sold here in the early 80's as the Ford Laser and is still being sold here today but I'm not 100% sure if it still is a Mazda based car

what a nice beater ;)

That Laser does not look like a 323, on my '88 323, there is not rear side window frames, the window is one of those lever deals where you lift the little latch and push it out and it clicks out so that the rear of the window is open. But that one looks like an early 80's, so that might be wrong...

well, I don't know why I'm up so early today, but I'm here and I'm typing 10 words per min...
