Hey everyone, i'm new here. my names TJ and i drive a nissan 300zx. She's my pride and joy. I like to autocross and am competing in my first redline time attack this summer.

The silver Z33 is a friend of mine's. He's also competing in redline time attack this year.
 
You wouldn't happen to be talking about the Redline event going on at Import Alliance, would you...
 
I'm actually not going to be able to go down to nashville due to a sort of family emergency, but I'm going to south carolina in a few weeks and new jersey in a month or so.
 
Excellent rim choice! They look great on the 350Z/G35 and 300zx. Nice car too, very clean looking. Post some vids of your time attack sometime if you have a chance, I'd love to watch them.
 
No one has asked for proof with a handwritten note saying "takethewall @ GTP" or something to that effect? :sly:

Usually someone is just johnny-on-the-spot within the first 3 posts.
 
I don't have any time attack vids atm, but i'll make sure to get some, I need to get a camera and a mount, and money needs to go in to the car right now so it's not really a priority.

Also, i'll get on that signed paper with a pic of the ride :sly:
 
How about a sign on your rims saying "free to SRV because they would look great on his G35"?!?! Then you can package them up and send them to my address, that would definitely prove to everyone that the car is yours!
 
It's just seems to be SOP to provide proof here and I'm surprised no one had asked you almost right away.

Very nice car by the way; Im a big fan of the Z32. On the road, I notice them coming a LONG ways off because they just great-looking cars in a 90's sort of way. 👍

I think the fact that it's not some super expensive sports car helps his claim.


Also, nice car, I have a thing for Z's.

Agreed! I've only done suspension mods. I feel they're by far the most important for overall performance. Naturally aspirated Z's are slow in a straight line, but with what i've done with it, it's an absolute blast in the corners.

I was lucky enough to get the looks from the factory. :sly:

My grandfather has one just like it, but yellow, and there are seven people in line to buy it from him. I'm number seven. It's such a desirable car, I love the thing to death. I also love how it's enormous and small simultaneously.

Thank you! Good luck on getting your grandfathers! It's such a fun car to have. People always make comments like "Is that a Ferrari?" and "Wow, that must be expensive!", but I just chuckle at the look on their face when I tell them it's a Nissan.

So an update on Redline Time Attack. I wasn't able to make it to any due to monetary/school issues. I'm pretty bummed out about it, but I'm going to make it there next year no matter what.

I'm borrowing my friends fancy camera in a couple days to do a sort of photoshoot so I'll be posting those up soon hopefully.
