Sup,

only found this forum last week and thanks to the drifting setup guides I can finally drift in GT4. Special thanks to Boundary Layer, his setup of the s2000 really explained alot to me and from learning how he setup that car my FC is now drifting really well :D
I have a question for Boundary aswell, to get that s2000 to suit my driving style more I had to increase the front spring rate so I could turn in harder when initiating drifts. I have noticed though that I find it difficult to hold long drifts, is this a consequence of having a higher springrate at the front as the frontend traction has been increased? In that article you wrote you mentioned the tunnel drift (GVS) and holding a drift all the way through it, I can do this by feinting a brake drift into the corner and then riding the momentum with power, however on other tracks with nice long corners that I cannot approach with enough speed or momentum I cant ride long drifts with power alone. Hope this makes sense?

Thanks again

with less frontend springrate it didnt really seem like I could hold drifts longer but I am asking because I was having trouble drifting properly at all with the lower front springrates. So it is hard for me to tell whether to just struggle to learn how to drive with more understeer at turn in or whether I can tune the setup to allow for more length in drifts.
Its hard to explain but basicly if I can hit the long corners at speed then get halfway round or more under brake drift/lift off then it is fine I can just hold the drift going usually for long enough but for corners that I cant use alot of momentum on I cant hold drifts long enough, I might just be asking too much.

If you're*cough NK4E, note the bold word :) mrsinista you can ignore this*... if you're losing momentum then you probably have too much angle / are braking too much...
