I found it while going to the dark side of youtube, it has to be hacked of course, but it also has to be in the game for someone to of got to it, it must be the beginning of something

I could only think of two answers for this track.

1. It could possibly be a part that was left behind whilst building Sierra
2. It could possibly be a new track's template that will show up sometime

The game shown is definitely hacked and modded.

I'm thinking this may have been GT Arena in its first, workable state. The coffee break involving the cones springs to mind when I look at this. Recall the glitch where you went through a gap in the fence that you sqeezed through (there's a video of it somewhere) and you notice the background is exactly the same.

It looks like a test level that was used in development before any of the actual tracks were in a usable state.

Reminds me of GT Arena Layout A (or was it B, idk), with the open space in the stadium used in Coffee Break.

I need to figure out how this is tied to the course maker so I can get crazy hyped about it! :D

I have a odd theory of what this may be.

I think it is like a radius marker for the car. By that I mean where ever the green circle is located, it will display the area around it, the grey area, as the track image data.
As seen in the video I think the distance form the circle to the "edge" is around the distance of where details get more refined as the car approaches. Also at the edge of the grey area it shows sky, further leading me to believe that's what the grey area is for. Like a green screen of sorts.

Sorry for my lack of programing knowledge, but I think is a fair guess, thoughts?

I think this is just the state of any track before everything get's modeled, just the sky box and a blank canvas.

Not sure why it was left in the code...

Maybe a hidden exit, somewhere at any of the tracks, leads to this place. Most game scenarios have "out of bound" areas that can be reached, if you manage to find a way.

One of the GT5 money glitches involved squeezing your car between the concrete barriers in the first hairpin at SSR11 and they you could drive around in a sort of no man's land below the track. It looked a lot like this but with the SSR11 track above it.

What!? This is probably the best track PERIOD! :sly:

It comes with a Green Ball.
I don't understand why this Track can't be included in GT6... Or maybe it might be a test for course maker...

Too advanced for current generation must be ported over to PS4 for GT7. :sly:
