I have the McClaren Stealth from pre-ordering. It's such a phenomenal car, I hope everyone gets to drive one one day.

Actually all the stealth cars are just variations on cars already in the game. That 100kb download is probably just a set of livery instructions to the game to unlock the car with a different paint job than stock. Later DLC cars will likely be new models and will require more of a download to pull the graphics and physics data.

Liveries are surprisingly big in file size if Ace Combat 6 is anything to go by. Plus we already know from other games that 100KB is the default size for most unlock keys used on the PS3... I think we're looking at the same thing here. There's no huge reason they wouldn't do this, it's a simple solution.

The stealth cars will be available for purchase some time in the future I'm sure. It's just too much money waiting to happen for Sony. This is why only idiots and fanbois shell out big bucks for overpriced, overhyped special editions or interest free loans in the form of preordering. Everyone gets the same disc, so sooner or later that special car or gun or whatever is going to get unlocked for everyone. Just sayin'.

I doubt there is unreleased vehicles hidden in the disc awaiting unlocking, although it would be great publicity for automotive manufacturers to have the game unlock their new cars as they are revealed to the public in real life.

They better sell the stealth/chrome line models on PSN Store or I'm going to pitch a fit. Maybe they could sell the chrome/matte paints for 20 chips at $0.99 I'd totally buy that too. (I'm saying that because I assume they are going to get rid of duplicating soon)

But my lone stealth model (McLaren F1) needs some friends!
