Acquiring and driving hidden cars:

buy sharkport
using sharkport, save game (garage) on PC
using PC - download a nifty program called MK garage editor (search on this site for where)
using MK garage editor, import saved game from Sharkport
edit garage to your hearts content, all the hidden cars available
save newly edited garage on PC
upload garage using Sharkport
drive hidden cars on PS2

It can't be any simpler than that. hidden cars/hybrids/whatever. that is the process.

You can get the hidden Diablo and Stratos using a Gameshark.

I was just looking at the Gameshark code for the Stratos race car. Half of the numbers in the code are identical to the Diablo Gameshark code. Each line of the Gameshark code has two sets of numbers. The first eight numbers in each line of code are identical on the Diablo and Stratos code. The Stratos code has 6 less lines than the Diablo code. When entering the Stratos code,use the Diablo code,insert the new numbers and leave out the last six lines. This way you will only have to enter 192 new numbers instead of 240.

I have the save all made up... has most of the hidden cars, I didn't include the Vauxhall Calibra or Astra... the opel in the NTSC are the same. I did include the VX220 though... it performs slightly better than the Speedster. I also have the Miata hardtop in there... and all the other ones in every color available. There are some other miscallaneous S2000's etc with colors you can't buy or win, but they're really not that great. but what I need is somebody to host the save for me. If anybody can, that would be great. Thanks.

the Cerbera is a body only, missing the taillight section. It's very rough looking, the textures aren't as smooth as other GT3 cars. It's very rough looking. It's one of the Sample ### cars.

The Miata hardtop is the roadster_89_opt in MK's prog.

for those that don't get what the terms are for being able to get the hidden cars...
they are only on the US version (and they are on the Japenese too but they aren't hidden).

Q. why does it matter what CD i have won't i still get them if i use the sharkport.

A. IT does matter what CD you have for you see the sharkport only edits your save files which tells the system what cars you have, color, settings etc. The true 3d models and textures etc are stored on the CD. So even if your memory card refers to a lambo if your CD doesn't have the model on the disc then you can't get it. (the us disc have the models on it but the PAL doesn't)

Porsche? There is a Porsche in GT3? I'm suprized Polyphony Digital hasn't gotten sued. Unless however it was a private companies modification to GT3.
