Oh French, my nemesis, the thorn in my side... until I got moved down so now I only do foundation which is uber easy :D (sorry to make you jealous dude) ;)
But the situation about popular kids getting different treatment is extremely evident in my school, one of my friends even had the year leader (whose son is conveniently in my year and popular) come up to him and say "I don't like you and your friends because you're not popular enough with everyone else in the year".... and this is why you shouldn't give me lethal weapons.

I wouldn't do that homework, and I'm almost positive hardly anyone else will do it either. Sure it's one bad grade, but you've got an entire semester to make up for it. At most it will probably only drag you down 2 points on your overall average.

As it turns out, that French work really was killer work. I had to excuse myself twice because I thought I was going to throw up, then I was sweating really bad but shivering. It wasn't the stress of the work, though. Well, maybe. But the main factor was... something that you guys don't have to put up with. Lucky :censored:s.

I spent the beginning of lunch yesterday curled up on the floor of a toilet cubicle () because I thought I was going to throw up again, the pains were so bad. Then I sorta stumbled over to my friends and told them that I was going to see the school nurse. I was still sweating but shivering, and my legs were really weak, and the medical room is on the 3rd floor :ouch:. I made it, described what was happening to me, she told me to run cold water over my hands then over my face and have a drink, so I did. I still felt bad, but my body temperature was going back to normal, kinda. I spent all of lunch in the medical room, various kids were coming in to check up on their broken limbs, but nobody ill came in.

At the end of lunch, the nurse sent me down to get my planner stamped at Student Services so I could go home. Got to the desk, and then realised that I really felt sick. Luckily, there's some toilets right next to Student Services, so I spotted my escape route. Then the cleaner decides to go in the ladies, so then I saw the disabled toilet, I could dash in there before I hurled. Then some kid walks in there who isn't even disabled. Oh Gawd. I really didn't want to run into the gents, in case some guy was in there taking a pee, and to be honest, I don't want to see that. So I had to run to the other side of the school to the next nearest ladies and narrowly missed throwing up in the corridor. I went back up to the medical room, feeling a bit better, but still not 100%, and saw two Year 8s in there looking sorry for themselves, both with ice packs on their heads. Typical school medical room.

My mum finally arrived to take me home, the nurse took me down to the main reception, and I finally got a go in the elevator. Kids aren't allowed to use it, although some still do. My mum stood up from the chair she was sat on when I walked in, and instead of saying, "Oh, are you okay?!" like a normal mother would, she went, "...Eugh, you're all grey!" ...yep, that's my mum. I went home, grey, still feeling crap, finally ate my lunch, and then fell asleep on the sofa.

Today I took the day off after waking up with pains still, slept most of the day to repair myself. I feel a lot better since yesterday now, sometimes the pains are still there but it's nothing I can't cope with.

That sounds pretty horrible Katie. I hate feeling ill at school, but not ill enough to go home.

In other news, I got 61% in my maths test. :ouch: And I'm top set too, so the pass mark is 70%. Luckily, my teacher says I can do the retest over half term, so I don't have to go after school.

Autocorrect?

We haven't had a test yet but I think we get one in about 1 week. I'm predicted an A* in Maths, A's in all 3 science's and a B in English.

Just finished controlled assessments in Science, literally 6 weeks after I start doing my GCSE's. They account for about 30% of the basic Science GCSE, which I'll have completed by January, before moving on to the Advanced Science GCSE.

Also, I've got an entire half term to do 3 hour-long tasks in Business.

Are you doing Triple Award or Dual award? I'm doing Triple award and I have exams on 9th January which account for 25% of my mark.

I'm doing iGCSE, so I don't think I do all of this module stuff. I just do one exam in summer 2014. Annoyingly.

Ross
What's iGCSE? I don't do any Modular stuff either. All of my GCSE's are linear.
Apparently it's a better version of GCSE. For many reasons which I don't know of. Or care about.

Ah OK. Just looked it up and the "i" stands for International

And that's my 5000th post. Not really something to celebrate but oh well.

I also suffer from extremely bad migraines, where I can't see, my hands, tongue and mouth go numb and I start throwing up, so the nurse usually always lets me go home when I say I'm ill anyway :p. She said to me, "The thing with you is that when you're ill, you're ill."

That's pretty bad. But also useful. I had a throbbing headache last week, and had to sit through double physics. :grumpy: Not what I needed.

First quarter exam tomorrow in English. It's a 900 word in-class essay. I might have cerebral palsy in my hand after it

2 tests in English during the last period + very tired me= I forgot half of the first test. The second one was easier since it was on a book rather than definitions of fiction. Then I had orchestra rehearsals after that. I'm fu****** tired now

I'll happily trade positions with you

I never do anything in school. Still don't know how I passed all the years. Seriously considering dropping auto tech. Too much crap going on.

I rarely have to do much in school anymore. I'm a senior, and I stacked my schedule somewhat the last 3 years. That means I have little to no tough classes. The only one I have to actually do something in is College English. My other class is Framing and Construction. After that, I get to leave school and go to work :)

I'm a senior too and I get swamped with work that I don't do.

I stacked my schedule as well and then my school decided to 🤬 me over....4 times.

So? That's an awesome mark, and some courses require you to take a certain math, taking the Uni course would be a waste of time.

My point is that there's nothing to brag about when you're taking College math...
