I have a two hour delay tomorrow. So that's three days and a two hour delay when honestly wasn't necessary but I'm not gonna complain. But I'm gonna be a bit annoyed if we only have tech for about two hours and I then have my classes at homeschool like normal. Tomorrow'll be my first day of auto tech.

So, in Chemistry, my group made some sparklers and we're going to light them for the class tomorrow. On Friday, my Spanish teacher is taking her Spanish classes on a field trip to a Mexican restaurant to see what a Day of the Dead meal is like, but we can only speak Spanish during it though.

My Spanish teacher did just that with my Spanish class last year. All I can say is "Me Gusta" :)

Hahaha ^

In the spirit of halloween, several of my teachers dressed up. My math teacher dressed up as a pimp, while another dressed as Mitt Romney.

Have a 2 week holiday starting today, but we have a load of holiday homework, so it's not going to be all fun and games.

The only time I remember it snowed here, back in 2007, classes weren't cancelled because teachers were being graded.

And today I'm having a holyday because of the day of the dead, So I have time to do my homework

My secondary school got called off after about 3inches of snow, any less then that and some pupils got in however very few teachers did but just enough to stay open.

My sixth form however refuses to close unless its snowmaggedon, however if you don't turn up when its bad then they arn't that bothered.

I have had tonnes of homework this half term holiday, got most of it done. still got an essay to do that I WILL get done on Sunday. However we do have next Wednesday and Thursday off for open days, all I have to do is help on Thursday evening in physics.

Summer is coming, I can feel it. The clouds are dark, the ground is wet and everywhere inbetween is a little cold. This also means school is ending for the year, and that I'm going to have 3 months of relaxation and pointless endeavors which have no effect on my life whatsoever. Oh and there are two exams (used to be three, but my maths told me not to go).

On Friday last week my Maths teacher just said, "Please stop turning up!" So I continued to show up and do other schoolwork at the back of the room while distracting one of the smartest people in the year group (and he's not even in my year group... He's a year younger). I've got my English exam, which I can get 12 credits from if I work hard, and my music one, which I don't know how many credits are available. I'm meant to be at school now, but today is only for prizegiving, and I'm not going to prizegiving this year either.

No, it's not that I'm not getting an award, as a matter of fact, I am getting an award (for something, most likely music). It's just that I hate the idea of going up on stage to receive a piece of paper with your name on it. It just seems like some sort of thing intended to raise the ego of students. I don't like celebrating my achievements, I think the achievement itself is rewarding enough.

I also don't like celebrating things by walking up in front of about 900-1000 people I mostly don't know, only to go up there, shake hands with a fat man with rather red cheeks, before standing on the stage looking at how bored everyone is and watching how much they regret showing up. And to add, the only reason I had school yesterday, was because the school planned the year so badly that they had to throw in an extra two days so that prizegiving could be done.

Now today, I don't have much to do. School is meant to be a half day, but the entire time we're there is prize giving practice. So I'm going into the school at about 12:30, so that I can finish off my graphics work and hand that in, before trying to go into the music room, and if not there, the shops (might check out those ponies :p). Before going to the Depot at about 5 PM. And then I'm off until next Tuesday, where I have my English exam. And my music exam on the 29th I think, I better check that.

WOAH!!! That is a big post!

We've changed from doing Citizenship and politics in Life Skills to DIY. Today we were doing child labour gardening, where the school's terribly overgrown 'garden' gets sorted out by we unfaithful Year 10s. There's a twisted wreck of glass and metal where a greenhouse once was before a nasty storm tore it down a few years ago, and a rather unattractive pond with no sign of life in it at all. Different people had different jobs, some people were digging out flower beds, others were trimming the bushes (much to some people's amusement ) and others, such as myself, were clearing away the weeds and grass to uncover a path that'd been hidden away for about 3 years.

My friend was hopeless at it. I don't want to sound awful, but he was hilarious. He started hacking at the weeds and grass, making bits of overgrowth fly into the air and hit any unfortunate student nearby. We tried teaching him how to do it, but he wanted to do it his way. I need to record him on Thursday and show you guys.

Loving how the school gets you to do what the caretakers should have done. ;)

Today while checking my grades on the school website, I thought of my past and I remembered how I use to get money for getting Honor Roll (Straight A's) or Merit Roll (A's and B's). In my High School you get Honor Roll if you A's and B's, like I do right now. I'm trying to think of a way to get a good amount of money for trying so hard (Yes i tried in 1 subject). Currently I'm worried about my Geometry grade which is an 82 (B in our grading system) and I really suck at math. Now i'm trying hard to study so I can get this Honor Roll and most of all get more money. I wonder how much I could get?

I go back to school tomorrow. Kinda looking forward too it, only 7 weeks until Christmas too. And we do no work in the last week of term anyway.

My Chemistry teacher decided that we should do a dance routine to understand some aspects of Chemistry. How is that supposed to work?

Your friend sounds a bit like me. I'm not practical in any way. I'm better with the intellectual stuff. Give me some Maths to do and I'll do it but give me gardening and I'll either put the fork through my own foot or hit myself in the face with a spade.

Who pays you to get good grades?

I have a great Tuesday and Thursday coming up as of the linear maths exam re-sits. In my year we finished our maths GCSE's at the end of year ten; nine of us got A* (me included) so therefore we don't have to do any linear re-sits. So tomorrow I have an English class with nine of us in it, and on Thursday I have Core PE (always a laugh) with at the very most nine of us, and to finish my Thursday (of GCSE PE, RM, GCSE PE, Core PE, RM) I have resistant materials with only me and a good friend.

! The caretakers have their own little 'nest' as they call it. Basically, it's a small house that nobody wants to buy that sits just inside the school gates, so the caretakers called it The Nest. It's got a driveway and everything. That has a nice garden down there because all the low-ability students do the stuff down there because they aren't/can't be productive in lessons. Back when I was in Year 7 the school hired some blokes to clear up the garden that we're working on, and it took them a week of non-stop work to get it looking nice. Thing is, the school never maintained it so now it looks a mess again.

He's not practical at all either. I'm actually quite convinced he's gay, because he talks and acts very camp, although he's been asked many times and he says he isn't, and he's also told us he likes a girl, but won't tell us who. He calls himself a 'feminine male'. He said he'd just make cups of tea and coffee for us during Life Skills instead of doing the gardening. Some of our other friends are going to give him really obscure orders. I personally don't drink tea or coffee, so I'll just say, "I'll have a cup of tea with no tea bag, no milk, no sugar and cold."

Starting my last English assessment EVER :D Well that is if I don't have to redo it because I balls it up, and seeing as my teacher has a vendetta against me that might happen :grumpy: However I actually do think I'm writing it really well, albeit taking my time I'm getting every fine detail in there. Whatever happens I won't get stressed about it, never have over tests, I always seem to be the only person who goes into exams relaxed.

 I'm not gay, just can't do anthing that involves manual labour child abuse. And  at the tea thing. If he's quite slow to register stuff then that will be hilarious.

Somebody in my social studies class at tech asked where Africa was today... Seriously... By the time your 15 or possibly older you should know where Africa is on a map...

It's the one at the bottom of the world with all the penguins and polar bears, right? :dopey:

People in one of the English classes thought Africa was a country the other day, since English teachers ask weird questions like that about books and authors.

My friend is trying to argue (if this is possible) that there are 51 states in America  He's saying that D.C is in fact a state and is using the map of the votes as proof where it says 50 of 51 states have voted, however he has failed to noticed the asterisk that said 'including capital district Washington D.C'
I've show him every source possible, I even explained how D.C means District of Columbia but his argument is "All Americans say it's a state so it is" :banghead:
Actually that's a question, do all Americans refer to Washington D.C as a state? And I am aware of Washington state.

Some even say Puerto Rico is a state, but i think it is owned by america but isn't actually considered a state.;) I could be wrong.
