Same.
Just got marks.
Math: 85
Physics: 53 (Didn't hand in a lot of stuff)
Tech: 80 (SO BORING)
Hospitality (cooking): 77

It's a mixed math class but the applied kids are struggling. More biased to the harder stuff. It's called Functions and Applications.
Edit:  I am going to hunt down the creator of Solidworks.

Don't even start on Kony. The people that think liking a status helps in any way, are coconuts

Here's a picture of a mutilated dog, like to stop animal abuse!

Here's a child being beaten by his father, like to stop child abuse!

Here's a sick person! Share this 40 times and his surgery will be free!

:banghead:

Not if the school in question (mine!) has blocked 9/10 of all websites, the only ones left are the 'educational' ones and Granturismo.com lol
 They've even blocked Google at our school so we have to use crappy Bing. Also we have to use IE as we aren't allowed to Download Chrome.

Isn't it illegal for teachers to go on strike?

Not illegal, as that would go against their rights, but each day they go on strike now, they would be fined $500, and Admins something like $2,000 I heard. (A teacher told me this).

Communist of the government if you ask me, but thankfully I only got 1 more year left in school.

How do marks work for you? Do you still have grades like A* A B C etc?

Not really, it's all numbers.
80-100 is in the 4 bracket.
70-79 is 3.
60-69 is 2.
50-59 is 1.
4 is like an A, 3=B, 2=C, and 1=D

Super awesome better than anything edit:
Went to math just now and everyone was waiting outside. A teacher came by and got everybody into the class and took attendance, then she said, "Congratulations, you've just earned yourselves an ISP".
Class went nuts and everybody bolted. :D

I have 3m math. I have a 89 right now.

But the reason we have breaks is to refresh. The brain cannot fully concentrate for 6 lessons straight with no breaks.

Mine can, I shall make it.

It wouldn't. Because then you end up with no time to talk to friends and stuff, plus you'd essentially have 10 minutes to eat your lunch. It takes almost that to buy lunch in my school because of the queues.

I don't have friends, I don't get lunch either.

I eat tons after school, to make up for it. Anybody want to request a rant on why I don't get lunch.

Rant away, that's what this thread is partially for.
I always eat a sandwich when I get home, then I don't want dinner. Stupid me.

Lunch. Depends what I want. If I am poor I will get packed lunch if I have money I will go to town and get a subway or fish and chips the true british classic. :D

I had my last ever textiles lesson today. And it was hell. Sewing machines stop working the moment I even look at them. The worst thing is I happened to have it at the same time they are choosing what Tech subject we get for GCSE, and I would REALLY like to get into Engineering. :grumpy:

My school lunches are actually excellent. Very good selection of food everyday, so even when I'm in 6th Form I'll still probably eat in school.

You get better than I ever did then. College canteen = Prison food thats over priced. School food = Stuff thats worse than what the homeless eat sometimes it was disgusting and found hair in it most of the time too. Those cooks needed the sack.

So is mine. We get "credit cards" to buy our food with. The speciality are the brownies. They just taste so good. Also the wraps and panini's are a daily thing for me.

We were supposed to have a Marketing test today. However there was a workplace safety assembly. So no test today! What a lucky bastard I am :D

Just realised another thing that annoys me.
In resistant materials we have to do all the sawing by hand when there's a great big bloody band saw at the back, now I know we can't use it because we're too young and irresponsible and we'll probably end up looking like Abu Hamsa if we so much as look at the on button, but I don't see why our teacher can't use it for use.
Now I know what you're thinking, sawing by hand will increase your skill, but when there's an easier and more efficient way of doing things why not!

Yer... I envy you, our food's shizz. The burgers look deformed and the apple juice tastes like it's passed through the digestive system... twice!

BTW if anyone's wondering I love ranting :D

That's why I haven't heard of it. Yer most people get the bus, a lot unfortunately are from Gipton -.-

We have "credit cards" too, though we call them "smart cards". Very quick and easy to play with, a great help when I'm holding a plate of food but have to pay for it before I eat it.
