No school on Friday due to the supposed 7-12 inches of snow that's coming our way. Next Monday begins the last week of my first semester, and my school usually crams all finals/exams within this one week. I have six to take. :indiff:

At least I can say that I'm doing much better this year, academically. My freshman and sophomore years were spent prioritizing friends and goofing off, but then I thought, "how many of these people are going to be significant to me after graduation, and are they worth barely passing for?" I'm sort-of a loner now, with only 3-4 close friends, which is just...better. :lol:

After the fight everyone asked me what happened, :lol: So I told the story at least 20 times that day. And I complained that it happened on my foot :lol: They thought it was funny :p

I had a 2 hour delay today cause of some amount of snow we got last night it's good though cause I did not feel like making up midterms on a full day instead of half day

I think my juniors are going to be in for a shock when we do work all through Friday. I'm not going to waste any time getting down to business.
 
I'm starting school next Monday. The Year 11's started today.

I've almost completed my holiday homework, but I don't think I'll be able to complete my Physics work. I'll do as much as I can, though. I also found out that one of my friends has just started doing his homework about an hour ago. :lol:

Midterms week is finally over, looking forward to sleeping till 1 pm.
 
Day 3 of Yr. 12, and my AG class finally goes down to the farm and 2 stupid people have to go and ruin it for the whole class. So we are back in the class room and doing some writing. :(
 
So I'm back at school. Year 10 is looking good for me, I tell ya...
 
So many people (20) chose Japanese Beginners for Year 11 simply because they think it'll be easy.

Those poor souls :lol:. Can't wait for them to start work on vocabulary.
 
Today was my first day back. It turns out that I have friends in almost all of my classes. :D I don't think there'll be anyone I know in English, though. Still, I won't mind as long as the people in the class are good.
 
I need to pick up the pace in Ancient History, we only have 30 Minutes for Extended Response Questions in the HSC Exams, at the moment it takes me 1 Hour.

I got 5 days off between semesters because of a snowday yesterday. Nothing to care or worry about for now.
 
So my history teacher is a Broncos Fan. We surprised him today with this:

I drew the toilet bowl, one of my friends drew a horse (despite me saying it should've been Peyton Manning) and some kid on the football team drew Cam Newton.

We have lockdown drills occasionally at my school (As well as fire drills). Apparently, the school has never actually been broken into or visited by anyone with malicious intent, though apparently over the years it was put under lockdown twice, for things going on in the community, not because the school was directly targeted.

I'll see your textbook-sized stack of notes and raise you fourteen reams of paper. Between my five classes, I mark over a thousand scripts in a year. If every script is (on average) six pages long, then that's nearly 7,000 sheets of paper that cross my desk. If it takes (again, on average) twenty minutes to mark one script, then that's over three hundred hours' worth of marking. If I did it non-stop, I would be working for nearly two straight weeks.
