Speaking of marching, Our season has only two weeks left. We have 4 rehearsals & 4 shows left:
  • Friday 10/10: Home Game
  • Saturday 10/11: Field Show
  • Sunday 10/12: Field Show
  • Saturday & Sunday 10/18-10/19: State Championships & Whitewater
Also, College fair this Wednesday

See, we're at the level where we're just starting to introduce pins into our walk-on...

...And we don't really move and play...

We sound great, just as far as a "marching" band goes, we don't really do much, even for homecoming. It's mostly just parades in the spring... Those go fine as well.

My bus is starting to kind of annoy me. These two girls keep on calling me the "swag master" I don't know if I should take that as a complim. Other than that grades closed for the quarter and I'm so close to an A average, think this could be my best school year academicall.

You have a car, yet don't drive to school to avoid.... people.

But, it should be a compliment in this day and age.

There was two girls who got thrown off the bus I'm on for "flirting" with a good amount of guys on it, but what they were doing was far from flirting. Even a dumbo like me could tell that they weren't flirting.

*Compliment* I expect good grammar for a A average student lol ;) (and I think you mean for progress reports) and they probably like you, I honestly would take it as a compliment

On the bus ride back from the Votech center back to the high school, some ass in a Toyota Camry almost wrecked and/or caused a wreck all because he couldn't put down his phone. It was hairs-standing-on-end enough, but I was in the front seat, so it really felt scary for me.

About a month ago (was watching a make-up game for a footaball game that got suspended), I watched some girl in a minivan about take out 4 cars and a couple pedestrians just because she didn't want to wait for her turn to go at a 4-way stop.

College Fair tomorrow :irked:
Know the booths i'm visiting for sure:
  • UW* Eau Claire
  • UW Whitewater
  • Indianhead Tech College
Of course, to make our time less enjoyable, the school has given us a worksheet to do there

*UW mean University of Wisconsin

Woah...it's been a while since I have posted here. Update on my schooling:
Several big name colleges are interested in me attending there. Vanderbilt, Clemson, Alabama, Auburn. Then some small name colleges. I'm most excited about Vanderbilt though because it's my number one choice. And band (even though i havent been in band since the ninth grade) we suck. Lol.

Oh lord what a day. The bus ride to the Votech school was good, but it took a turn for the worst on the way back to the high school. We pulled up alongside an 18 wheeler truck at a stoplight. Someone had some smokeless tobacco and went to spit it out at the trailer of the truck. He missed the trailer but got all of the window. Then he tried again, and got the trailer this time. The truck driver got pissed. He cut off the second bus and tailgated us for a few miles. We were all pretty sure that the truck was either going to follow us or report the bus. As far as we know, nothing beyond what I already said was done.

Then there were students punching, hitting and even choking each other, but not in a serious manner. We had to have the police officer, who is assigned as a resource officer for the high school, get involved. Long story short, there won't be any hesitation at all to suspend us and place us under arrest for swearing, having tobacco, acting like fools, etc.

Luckily I'm pretty much completely safe given how unlike the other people I am.

My school is really bad at times.

I walk past the whole group of them while I'm heading to lunch and they're waiting for their bus to show up. Some of them look like the ones that always smoke at the back of the parking lot and just be general nuisances to the school. I'm surprised that most of them are allowed to go to Votech when they seem like they spend most of their time in detention.

I've heard stories where people who were idiots at my high school lost their Votech privileges if they didn't shape up. My high school looked at it like "if they can't be mature, they won't be mature at Votech."

Luckily half of the guys at my school will be gone after this year because they're seniors, but there's still the new patch of Votech kids.

Homecoming week this week, so being a senior it's go big or go home with the themes of the day.

Today was opposite day, so what better for a 240lb, 6'2" guy to wear than his mother's brand new dress, leggings, and a pair of heels?

Also, I learned that one should know how to remove make up before applying it.

Oh lawd, just that picture in my head has me loling...

At least it isn't as bad as having male cheerleaders performing and a football scrimmage between the upper and lower classmen girls.
