How to mess up both the students and teachers, decided to switch which features. Day it is last minute, both students and teachers were expecting a white day today since we had no school yesterday, nope. It also turns out the day before vacation (this Friday) the schedule will be messed up again, this time to fit in a basketball game against my school versus Bartlett.

So that person I mentioned in my post above was doing Oxycodone at Votech, and some friends caught him, but never reported him. On the bus ride back to the high school, his antics as a result of being high were a mix of entertaining yet utterly ridiculous. Then it got to be too much for the bus driver, who shut off the radio and pulled over to yell at everyone on the bus. Now, every Votech student who at least rides the same bus as the Oxycodone user, including me, is likely to get in some kind of trouble. :banghead:

School and everything in the damn place is getting unbearable, more than it already has.

Reading your Votech bus posts I feel these punishments seem lenient. Kids would have been expelled back at my school.

The bus driver does put up with a lot of stupid crap and is very lenient herself, but there comes a time when enough is enough, and I'm worried that we're on the edge of that right now. And yet when that day comes, the usual troublemakers are going to be blaming the bus driver for everything that we can no longer do, and won't change. Some of the people I know real well, but even I, as their friend, can say that they're a group of idiots sometimes.

That's my school I love them all but I hate them. But hey we're all in the same Skeleton

Yeah. It would have never gotten that out of hand either at my high school cause they would have got the police involved long before that.

Not really anything to report about today, not even about the Oxycodone user, but today was an usually easy and good day for me. Except I will admit that I was worried about a good friend of mine.

My friend, after trying to covince us he'll no longer truant and be super productive cracked after the 3rd week. He is ignoring Biology (he even truant when I had a free period) and continuing his whining about Maths and English. Though on the plus side, he is pretty focused on Music and Cooking, which I'm proud of and he is looking for just being a cook which is good he made up his mind which I haven't.

I'm really annoyed at my Multimedia teacher from today. As expected we have to continue the assignment out of class, but everyone had problems mainly due to their school laptops keep crashing when they use Photoshop or the Internet just blocks everything at home so I can't get images. The teacher just 🤬 ignored the complaints just because they simply have Photoshop they can use even though he has never seen how their laptops run when used. I'll just have to do it on my Frees and stay in on Tuesdays as my resort.

We got the note for our Cross-roads camp. I really don't like some of the activities on there (waling through freezing mud :yuck:). So I'm going to take my ball and do the theory (either one is mandatory) which is just as brutal though mental wise but I prefer that than freezing my 🤬 off in mud.

No rule in our school that says I can't bring a blanket to school. It's so cold my non-existent boobs are freezing off, so I'm bringing a blanket tomorrow.

EDIT: I found my dad's old duck slippers. Tomorrow is Pajama day now, complete with a robe, pajama's, duck slippers, and a blanket.

There was a kid who, one day last year, threw a knife on my bus. And did he get punished?

No.

It was a crazy day. Since it was so cold a lot of buses did not start so people were picking up kids that would be normally not be on the same bus. My bus was combined with three other buses and we tried to fit 65+ kids in the bus. Some people had to unfortunately stand or sit in aisles. During my second class of the day, study hall, my teachers and one of the students talked about strip clubs. Then the school day went normal until someone found out that one of the History teachers was arrested this past weekend. His mugshot went around and then we found out that he had been fired.

The best part of my day is playing soccer at recess and lunch.
We (year 9's) have been playing with the year 10's recently and each game has been truly epic with insane goals from both sides. Celebrations from our side were like that of actual soccer players (maybe crazier!) Out of the 5 games played, 3 were a 1-1 draw. The best goal however goes to a kid who thinks he s*** hot that actually proved himself to be s*** hot with the most incredible shot we'd ever seen, somehow putting his foot through the crowd surrounding the goal and getting it in the corner of the net. The year 9's went absolutely bezerk.

So today I was walking to the bathroom and some kid threw up in front of me then my principals came up and started laughing (we're good friends) Then he said I can't use that bathroom so he sent me to the TEACHERS bathroom. Then I go in the the toilet is flushing it self.... After that I come out and he's like We have to shut the school down. And I'm just like :sly::D
We got a half day because the schools water pipes froze and then we left!

I posted one of the pics of my day in the Pic of Yourself thread. This is how I dressed. This pic was taken after the other one, later in the day, when I was wearing the blanket like a poncho.

It was a hit.

What. The. Heck.
You mean you don't?

The Australian system calls for a one-hour break every day, which is usually broken up into two parts. Most schools opt for twenty minutes for recess and forty at lunch, but I have seen it split into two half-hour segments before.

Recess went out the window after elementary school here in the US. We get like 3-5 minutes between classes to get to our next classes, but you can't really call that recess.

Haven't had something like that since elementary school. Although in my last year they were implementing something along the lines of free roaming. Only within the school though... in specified areas... during short windows... bad neighborhood.

My school has a five-minute break in the middle of the day, but that's mostly because we use an eight-period system.
