Brand new building, less than three years old. Three outlets fell out of the wall in Biology class today, and a desk leg fell off. Also, the ball python that my bio teacher keeps got out and made it to the third floor before we caught him.

And that's probably part of why my school doesn't have animals.

Sounds like it's been an interesting day for you.

Just found out that my musicology discussion in music EDIT : was cancled :banghead::mad:

Can't seem to catch a break these days. Today I found out I got wrote up to the principal for skipping math class last Thursday. I was absent the entire day. But while I was talking to the principal I said I was present because I thought it was the day before that I wasn't there. So now I'm home with no way to talk to the principal or the math teacher. Figures its always the stuff that's nothing more than an honest mistake that screws me.

I had the privilege of arranging the display case outside the art rooms today. Which one of these is not like the other?

So grades came a few days ago, I thought my Pop History Teacher might've screwed me over with the D- since she hadn't updated grades since October. Turns out she was absent on Monday for a good reason.......I got a C :p

So I had an interesting moment in math class on Thursday. The student who sits across from me sat down in their empty seat to check papers. He noticed a paper on the ground next to me and jokingly accused me of littering. I picked it up and he asked who it belonged to. When I answered him and showed him whose it was (it was a female student), he said "Oh, her. She can go suck a fat one." It left me pretty speechless and I'm not sure if he was joking or not. But that's definitely not something you'd expect to hear, that's for sure.

Pretty sure that I have contracted senioritis.

For the past couple of weeks I have kind of slipped up and fell behind in all my subjects and haven't been feeling motivated much. I got some catching up to do now.

I feel the same way.

My high school had presentation night and I got an award.

Though it was an effort award for English Studies. a.k.a the equivalent of getting a gold star from a kindergarten teacher. It honestly does feel like I was chosen at random too.

Eh, no biggy, at least I get a free pen :D.

Today in gym class my friend dislocated his kneecap. Let's just say that the thud I heard was just as bad as the injury itself.

Well, one more thing. As much as he's on his dirt bike, I'm surprised it happened in gym class rather than while on his bike.

I need some help with this decision.

You see, even though I dropped IT: Multimedia, I am willingly helping 2 of my friends with their major projects. I am helping Person A with his Mario Skit (I'm Luigi :D) due to me doing Drama and am a huge Mario fan and I am helping Person B with level designning for his game since I like the draw levels of various games in my spare time as well as play a lot of Super Mario Maker.

The problem comes in Person Bs project, as while I'm helping with the level design he has Person C (who I am no longer friends with) to do Music and Sound as he is pretty good at it. I don't have issue with him being involved as he and Person B are friends and he is good at what he does but he has a massive with me helping Persn B just because we don't like each other (even though we don't have to interact at all and I don't have issues with him personally as I simple moved on as he isn't the person who I was friends with anymore) even though I am friends with Person B.

I'm thinking about dropping from the team as it seems that this will be too much of hassle for Person B if Person C is going to act like child with me working on the project but at the same time, I don't want to leave them in the Level Design deep hole as they have 0 experience at it not to mention the game is a platformer and they rarely play that genre.

I really don't know what to do, any suggestions?

Tell them all that if C isn't going to act mature and cooperate with you, you're not going to help them. That's what I would do.

Just got back from the Christmas Parade. I was walking with the band this year, and during the walk. I could clearly see some changes from when I was a Senior. Some changes were good, but some were bad. For example, the band seems to be marching better than they did when I was in band. The student count is also higher compared to my Senior year. However, with the count increase came the unwelcome side effect of people in band who don't take it seriously. There seems to be more goofing around compared to the goofing around that happened during my tenure. But overall, it seems like the regime change has really had a positive impact on the band as a whole- albeit despite the fact that the regime change was due to legal issues impacting the former director.

Last year, a handful of students got busted for smoking weed in the bathrooms. Today I noticed a new sign in the wall that says "we're all about that green" in an effort to support the golf team. My first thought was well of course we're all about that green, otherwise we wouldn't smoke weed in the bathrooms!

I'm unofficially on holiday right now, because my school has an "Activities Week" next week which is pretty much a daycare service. Hardly anyone turns up because it's just a waste of time. Year 9 was one of the best years for me, with the majority of kids being much more settled and just that little bit kinder overall. Coming off a tough Year 8, I was pleased with the teachers I got and learnt way more than I expected. Based on what I've heard, Year 10 is big step up and the expectations are far higher, but the classes should be more engaging.

I had my presentation day today and this is a list of stuff I got :

. Bega High School Canteen Volunteer Award 2015

. McDonald's $5 gift voucher, 1 free bowling game at AMF bowling, 20% off an unlimited rides pass at Luna Park

. Andrew Constance Encouragement Award

. $25.00 Canteen Voucher

. a voucher for 1 free driving lesson with Duane's Safer Driving School

I got a lot and got lucky

Some of my former elementary school classmates want to have a "reunion" which 1, 80-90% of them go to my high school anyway, and 2, its only been like 3 years, reunions don't happen that soon.

Funny enough it only takes about 5 minutes of listening to one of them talking at my school to remember why I hated the people and the school. And that is pretty much what you do at a reunion anyway isn't it?

Oh yeah, they are also breaking that don't do drugs and alcohol thing from elementary school because this reunion is really just going to be an excuse to get drunk or stoned with like 3 people who left for greener pastures. So much for that pledge

I was usually step away from all the non-casual meetings, usually wastes of time.

I know I am not going to my Year 12 formal no matter how much my friends want me to go.

while we are on the topic of school reunions and formals, My year has not ever had a formal, but the year below mine has had at least 2 and the year above mine had their's last month. :(
