I got a 100% on a socket test in my auto tech class today. So that was awesome.

Not doing much, I'm assuming because of Christmas break coming up.

Speaking of Christmas break, I can't wait to do nothing. That's what I'm best at. I can't wait to not go to school for 1.5 weeks so I can listen to music, play music, play games, and not think.

The only classes I can stand are chemistry and German.

Got chewed out for watching Key and Peele during class. Oh well.

Well finished my Computer & Auto Tech finals today. I felt really good on Auto Tech, but bad on computer. I got Gym and Algebra tomorrow, with algebra my worst of all subjects since 6th grade. Once i finish those two i'm off for Christmas break!! :)

Finals start tomorrow for me. AP English 4 (Walk in the park) and then my TA period, where I'm supposed to sit for 2 hours. Sadly I have an unavoidable doctors appointment, and will just have to go home after English is over...

So I'm sure your schools have Football teams. Do they say a prayer before the game?

I've already been not thinking for about a month! Another month and a half of not thinking to go, the only difficult part will be getting my brain to start thinking again come February.

Last week until the Christmas holidays with non-uniform day on Thursday, can show off my new shirt yay! :D

Also for ICT we were set to make a music festival poster but we stopped doing it for exam preparation... however in every other lesson where I used a computer I worked on it a little and now it's finally finished! :dopey:
Tell me what you think...

The only problem I see is that Judas Priest's logo isn't big enough. They should have had their proper logo with the other names. :p Other than that it is awesome.

Now to go on topic for a second or two. Whether I failed or passed my exams I have most definitely not passed the year. 60 credits are required to pass level 2, I'm sitting at 29, with 8 level 2 credits available to me via exams (which I have already done, almost a month ago, but the results aren't up yet), and I'm pretty sure that all of my internal exam results are in, so maybe I'll get level 2 next year, let's just see what happens. At least I'm not like my friend, who only just passed level 1 at the end of THIS year, not last year. I have about 110 level 1 credits, but they mean nothing for future year levels, I only have 36 maximum level 2.... Oh bugger.

You'd think someone would feel stink after realizing failure, wouldn't you? But me, I don't really care all that much, because I know I'm not exactly at large in the brain department. I see people in here saying, I did so badly in my fligiginometry test, I only got 80%. I look at it thinking, "HOLY CRAP!!! I would only get 80% in music, or if I had too many lucky guesses!"

I used to be smart or slightly above average in intermediate and primary (years 1-6, 7-8 respectively), I would be usually the quickest for basic facts, and in the sort of 3rd 7th of the class everywhere else... Except for PE that wasn't just running. Running quickly I was good at. Usually arriving at the finish 4th or 5th.), until college (high school), where I had to start putting more thought into planning how I'm going to get to the next class without getting stuck in student traffic, or my excuse as to why I didn't do my History homework (history being the class that I decided I shouldn't have selected. It turning into a class where my friend and I just sat there annoying the rest of the class by making silly noises, and eating bits of muffins that we found on the floor). Of course these were all more important than actually doing the school work. The thing about this lack of brains, is that all the more popular people who used to pick on oddballs like me, are passing perfectly fine, and can do so WHILE socializing with their fit sports playing popular friends who the teachers forgive and forget all of their late show ups, and "unexplained absences." People like me can only choose one, but even when I do push hard, I fail anyway, because I got distracted by a sparrow that was in the bush just outside of the window, or by the cigarette that just fell out of a student's pocket. If I choose to just talk to my friends, and fail, it's more enjoyable than trying the failing anyway. Because when you're in college (high school), it doesn't matter to anyone if you try. You're not going to turn up to a job interview, and tell them that you failed all of your schooling, but at least you tried. It's like seriously auditioning for American Idol despite not actually having any musical ability, and having the most monotonous voice on the planet.

Now I may be ranting (obviously) but it's just me ranting serious/not serious. I do it just because I feel like it, and someone may even find my rantings about eating muffins off of the floor in a class which consisted mostly of girls who felt that they had to show how sophisticated they are.

Now don't take that rant all too seriously, because if I go on a rant, I'm probably a lot less serious than I appear to be.

Our school's team always does. Both teams get together after the game and pray with a preacher on the field. The announcer gives an invocation to the whole stadium over the loud speaker before the game.

Just sent my application for college. Decided to pick chemistry, physics, maths and ICT which I know will be awfully difficult but no gain without pain aye. However the personal statement had to be one of the hardest things I've done (no innuendo) you just have to babble about nothing for so long.

College? I never had to do a personal statement just an interview.

Physics and maths are hard if you are ok at them but not great. I thought being good at science but ok at maths would be fine. Dropped them both and did Sociology and Philosophy. At least my college let me change subjects week 3.

The personal statement is a weird thing indeed, just sent my Ucas application off, it's hard summing yourself up in 4000 characters without coming across cocky, or over-confident. Useful, but frustrating to write.

I applied for Physics at Exeter, Cardiff, York, Lancaster and Nottingham. Hopefully should get some offers back soon! :nervous:

My dad went to Lancaster, he liked it.

My school was in lockdown today because some kid apparently had a gun and threatened a counselor. Happened while I was at tech.

Ofstead are currently inspecting our school. We had an inspection about a year or two ago, which means they shouldn't be coming back again whilst I'm there, but because we got such a poor report last time, they're coming back again early. Half of the teachers are crapping themselves and trying to tell us that it's the students they look at, not the teachers. We were given 'Satisfactory' last time, which I think was the worst in our area. My guess is that we'll be given the same thing.

Today I tired myself out too much. The day started with English and Maths, which wasn't tiring, then I had Resistant Materials, so I was working on my wooden box, trying to glue it together with the help of a friend. Then I had Art, and the deadline for our final pieces is tomorrow. There is no way that the teachers have given us enough time to do this, as I only started my proper final piece on Monday. Mine is a Banksy-style street art thing of a drifting RX-7 (this one to be precise, if anyone could tell me who drives it I'd greatly appreciate it!) and I've also got to create some poster thing all about it. Then in PE we were doing dance... the dance to the musical Hairspray :scared:. But I decided I'd turn into Louie Spence and do everything flamboyantly, in fact, I did it so flamboyantly I gave myself a headache. I... I... I actually enjoyed it, and I hate musicals!

Then I stayed behind after school finishing my Art piece, and decided I would walk home. Thing is, I walked a pace too fast for myself and got home and just went to bed for an hour . I guess I'm just so unfit - I usually get the bus home.

Rumor is a kids bringing a gun to school on Friday-

Cops found a hit list, and apparently he has something wrong with him so he still goes to school and stuff.

I'm not going to school Friday- and instead, am going to the hot tub party "We don't want to die, we want to have a hot tub party!"

Yes, that's what we're calling it.

Don't tell the hit list kid :nervous:

Today I'm going to man up and do a total of 2 essays and 1 additional exercise for tomorrow. :trouble:

If I don't, I'm definitely going to be in trouble because tomorrow is pretty much the last school day before a long Christmas break. :dopey:

What subjects are they? I can do them for a price. :dopey:

Although they are in Finnish arent they. Just realised, can't speak a word of Finnish.

One is Psychology, it's simply explaining about the characters' behavior in a movie that you weren't watching with us, and the other two are... umm, you know, I actually can't explain them with a single word, but the other is an analysis of two opinions on restricting freedom of speech, another is again an analysis about a complainment letter sent to our parliament about the dangers caused by wolves. :dopey:

Well it's okay for me, good (albeit crazy:p) friends and all. The only thing I dont like is they way my institution operates.

Bloody hell tell me my test is at Block 53 LV8 when it's really at the damn convention center which I had to look for myself.
Will probably be lucky to get a B for that paper, cost me 20min. :ouch: Oh well finance was never my forte and it may be good engineering is my main diploma?

Also some (keyword some, Ive been lucky to meet a very good few) of the lecturers downright suck, last year one taught till most of the class was lost.
He was so confused by his own formulas till my friend had to help him.

And this year, we have a fella that has a mic but pretty much chants to himself when teaching. As a class we really had to help each other and consult other sources.
And god dont get me started on the stupidly designed taps in the toilet and the power plugs in the canteens.

As for the potential of meeting stuck-up people, there really are very few here. It's super.
In fact, when I joined the Track team everyone was really acceptant and welcoming despite me being super unfit back then.
Prior to my second leg injury I was improving well and I enjoyed every moment with them and my classmates. This is a chapter I'll remember. 👍
