Sat my AS level mechanics again today, and aced it :D four exams left in the next two weeks, then back to normal schooling again.

Assuming you mean PH1 and not M1 then me too. WJEC by any chance?

I think I managed a B/C which is painfully short of what I need. Not to worry too much, always resits. :)

So, today in world geography, a girl in my class (NOT A HIPSTER THIS TIME) said that the U.S. was a developing country, and that it was due to the illegal immagrints voting in the election, WHICH IS AN ATOMIC FACEPALM TO HER! :banghead:

I once had a sub in spanish who knew no spanish at all
That's far from ideal, but sometimes it can't be helped. Your regular teacher might have called in sick at the last minute, and thus the school had to get someone in on incredibly short notice. And sometimes when that happens, aptitude in the subject isn't high on the list of priorities. If all the teachers qualified to teach Spanish are otherwise occupied that day, then the school has no choice but to get someone else in. Believe me, I know - I've been called in at the last minute to teach everything from art to biology, and I'm not trained in either. Once I even had to teach a cooking class with just five minutes' warning.

We usually get useless subs in who know less Spanish or French than I do, they just give us sheets. Unfortunately for them we hate subs so we just talk to each other all lesson seeing as we're not going to learn anything new or even reaffirm our knowledge.

Exact same situation here, except that the sub knows almost more Spanish than she does. Lol

Found out today I can't get a parking pass mid year. I was hoping to ride my street bike to school my freshman year.

That's bull. You can get them all year round here.

I think thats the same here. Your school might be different. We can get ours till march i think then after that what is the point of getting one if school is out in a month or two.

School is out in June for us provided we don't use/go over our snow days. Like that ever happens. We get 3 feet of snow and they still have school.

That is an awesome game show.

Wish they still ran it.

It was indeed, like a better version if Total Wipeout.

I do OCR, so it's called mechanics the first Physics unit, we do M1 in maths in June. Ah you can always mess up a little first time round, but don't forget there are no January resits after this year!

Writing a speech for English and I needed a closing statement that left the audience "riled up". I wrote this "Audience, I leave you here with this statement, Do You Even Lift?"

Got a 98% on my Calculus test. The only thing I got wrong was that I did not write the limit properly. A pure careless mistake. :grumpy:

well im going to public school next year :(, Im scared Sophmore **** me
Public school is actually not too bad. I mean, we have a good learning environment and the food is great. What more could you want from a school :D :dopey:

Great food? What planet is your school on? :p

Bad part about public school is that almost everyone blasts awful rap music in the workout room. :banghead:

We do live in England remember? Here people are actually nice. :dopey: Well, I say that, but its not true. :p

Well, my school has some great food. And we have to use headphones here so it isn't a problem.

True, true.

I actually rather like the food my school provides, but I stopped eating it about two or three years ago because food from home is just that bit better. :p

Oh, and here's a nice metaphor about snow my English teacher came up with today;

"Snow is like premature ejaculation. It always comes at the wrong time."

Hmm... My school is rather poor on the food side. For example, the Roast Beef is more fat than meat and the 'Chicken Burger' is rather to processed to earn the first part of that title.

While I'm dragging St Catherine's to the ground; I really am fed up of doing trips I used to do in Year 3 and work I can do in five minutes flat... CHALLENGE ME DAMMIT! Things are bad when I am actually doing homework for mainstream school pupils by choice! :(

Was rather annoyed today, I finished my work which was about 16 questions in about 20 minutes. Meanwhile everyone else is bitching about how they don't know how to do it. Then since I hand it in, everyone flocks around me asking for help. ****ing annoying...

This the same one who talked with you after class about rallying? Somehow I think there may be more to this teacher than you're really seeing... :sly:

That's funny

What do you guys think about the option of skipping a grade? I have the option right now to skip 11th grade, but I'm not sure if I should take it.

You're making it sound a lot worse than it is! He just speaks his mind, he's quite funny to be honest.
