Actually on that some teachers just shouldn't be allowed, my English teacher at the end of last year said I was going to fail English and never get a job. So far on my coursework I'm on a strong C and in my poetry exam I got an A.

Ha, indeed it is. However it pisses me off when they get pissy at YOU for not helping them. Go ask the teacher, not me. Or look it up. It's not my problem you don't understand it.

I actually rather like the food my school provides, but I stopped eating it about two or three years ago because food from home is just that bit better. :p

Oh, and here's a nice metaphor about snow my English teacher came up with today;

"Snow is like premature ejaculation. It always comes at the wrong time."

Actually that sounds a lot like my Maths teacher. He says loads of weird things and he has a strong Aussie accent so that just makes it funnier.
 
I've got a mock History exam tomorrow, then a mock Maths exam on Thursday. I haven't revised for either simply because I can't. I read the stuff, I answer questions, but none of it goes in. :indiff:
 
Just tell your teachers you think exams aren't a measure of intelligence (which they aren't) and refuse to do them. :p

That's very true. I can completely guess, since all of my exams are multiple choice. This is my problem with school. Nothing ever gets applied, which means I don't understand it and I don't remember it.

But refusing wouldn't do much except make your grade drop.

Be grateful you only have 1. I have 2 exams on Thursday, a philosophy exam in the morning and sociology in the afternoon.

I am going to hate Thursday.

I have Newtonian Physics tomorrow, then C2 friday and C3 on Wednesday. Not too bad ...
 
Had to take the biology Keystone test today. Have to again tomorrow. Quite stupid. Thankfully it doesn't count as a grade.

Also, I don't have final exams because of the Keystone tests.
 
*smug look* I only have one exam, on the 25th. Physics. Seems I understand more or it than I thought I did. :D

Also found the timetable for the summer exams (which our school failed to tell us about :grumpy:) and turns out my last exam is on the 14th June, RMT I believe. Just in time to make me miss the Download Festival. :(
I may never be able to ever see Iron Maiden or Slipknot now! :mad:
 
Well I'm new to the thread so I guess I'll introduce my self. I'm currently a sophomore and...that's about it lol.

Today I completely bombed a history test and I got sick. Might be the flu that's been spreading around here...awesome day huh?
 
We're starting to introduce ourselves to a novel based in the 1960's. Therefore, the teacher asks, "Students, what happened in the 1960's?"

I rile off a bunch of answers like the smart ass that I am, the Cold War, Vietnam, the hippie age, etc;, when someone says, "Jimi Hendrix", to which I LOVE Hendrix. Just then, a kid (who has fallen into the swag and YOLO epidemic), says maybe the most idiotic words I've ever heard someone say:

"I ain't never heard of this rapper!"

I LIT into the kid. I was mad, insulted that he DARE call the great Jimi Hendrix a "rapper". And his response? "Shut up! I wasn't born in the 60's!"

I hate my generation.
 
Ooooh, it's time for me to log into NZQA and see if my exam results are up... WHAT THE!!? I passed all my exams? That's a relief. But they still don't mean much because I still only ended up with 34 credits... Out of the 60 needed to pass level 2. I still just means next school year I'll need to gain level 2 and level 3, and then I'll be off working for my dad when school is over because this year is my last year.

Oh my god I love you so much, thank you for speaking him your mind. This is exactly how I feel. No one listens to actual music in my school!!!! Some people... Get this, did not even know John Lennon at my school. It just makes me want to cry.

However, he was the one who started it by throwing a eating knife at me.

Don't feel bad. I missed Iron Maiden this pass July. The venue was literally 6 miles from me. And I could hear it. I wanted to cry. Especially as I had 3rd row seats and backstage passes.

What kind of trouble did you get in for fighting?
 
Some girls got in to a fight yesterdaya at my school. One got suspended for 10 days but I don't know about the other.

A couple weeks ago, someone got suspended for stealing from a vending machine. Those are about the only suspensions we've had.

:lol: How do you steal a vending machine without anyone noticing? That's still pretty funny none the less. Anyway, someone at my school got suspended for a week for getting into a fight. I don't know what happened but I do know that the one that got suspended is a bit of a ****
 
I gave my friend a black eye although for good reason, he kept jokingly hit me then punched me in the balls. Now I have a very short temper so I instantly swung round and 'palmed' him in the eye although I did hit him mainly with the protrusive bone under the thumb.
