My school bus didn't come today. Best thing was, I was stood outside waiting, as my mum had received no message informing her about the bus, and there was no information on the school or the council website...

Nice to know they keep everyone updated.

I had this happen before. I was a bit pissed I couldn't sleep in haha.

My school cancels class when it is -5°F. It was -3°F today. So close.

Lucky! I wish my school worked like that, the high here has been 10-15 below for the last few days and school never cancels for cold. (A couple of years ago, it was 40 below for a week and most schools in my area were open)

Dear god where the hell do you live? The north pole? I'd be so mad if school didn't get cancelled.

Our school wouldn't get cancelled if we had 5 feet of snow, blowing snow (total white out) and -40 below zero. I've had winds so high here , I've seen tops of pine trees ben over and touch the ground. And we still have school. Idiots.

Apparently Minnesotans (and NoDak...ians) are just tougher than Michiganders.[/stirspot]

:p

Yyyeeeaaaahhh, in alabama it rarely ever gets down to 10 degrees so we dont usually get out except for when it snows. Which like once or twice every 2-3 years.

We took a field trip to a local lab which researches how the environment affects our health and it was completely boring.

Last exam paper was today, season is finally over, now I can sort of relax, though not too much, dodging snowballs from lower years tests your reflexes

I had Midterms today and I feel like I failed my Geometry test. I still have to go through my Chemistry exam tomorrow (another one I will probably fail). I'm happy school is half way over. I just want it to be done.

Physics test tomorrow. I feel I know it well for once, luckily it's mostly calculations and maths being my strong point. 👍

That was the worst math exam ever. I blanked out on what a principal angle was and on a trig identity question.

FACT: I haven't dome homework for at least 5 years. Made it to Grade 12 so I can't complain.

Yeah it is just to easy to avoid.

So I wrote my last exam of High school today and it feels awesome, I didn't really go to school much this semester let alone English class, but i know i passed it was just too easy.

I got to start taking apart an engine at tech today. It's from a 1985 BMW 325E. Basically that means me and one other person in my group worked while everyone else just stood around. But I had them run and grab me tools I needed so whatever. Was rather fun and a lot easier than I expected.

Then everybody was complaining about touching the lube that was on the crankshaft and the bearings. Honestly, if you're worried about getting your hands dirty/greasy, auto tech isn't for you.

Tomorrow their is a 70% chance of snow. I'm not sure if the weather man is trolling, but i hope it does, because i don't want to take an algebra test tomorrow.

I wish my school had any classes that had to do with cars. In my Sr. year I plan on taking a game design at a nearby school.

My school never had ones that delt with cars, they had ones for small engines like snowmobiles and ATV's etc. Then once you get to your junior and senior year you get the option of being a student at a vocational schools body shop are actual tech class. I took the actual tech class, as I find the benefits are better and I like the mechnical stuff over painting a fender. 2 years get you a certificate of completetion (basically says you're a certified technician), state inspection license, and upon training completion you get 6 certificates that verify completion of hazardous materials safety training, mechanical safety training etc. Pretty much confirms I will always have a job.

Wish me luck guys, my Spanish class has a midterm today, and this is the first year since 6th grade that we've done actual work.

The physics was a complete, and utter... success! :D Only struggled on 3 questions and the rest I answer really confidently, I can see myself getting a B for certain maybe something more. :)

Ditto to that. I never did any and then almost failed in 10th grade so I went to a tech school that never gives any.

Like with Slashfan, I go to a vocational school. I go in for the first half of the day an then finish the rest at my homeschool.

And today we put the engine back together. Then we realized that we didn't measure the bolts so we have to take it back apart just to measure the damn bolts.

Got kicked in the shin by a dude wearing steel-toed boots. He did it as hard as he could and my foot is numb and my shin feels like it is fractured or broken. Wish me luck that its not cause track starts Feb.8.

If I were you, I'd give him a steel capped glove to the face :sly: :dopey:

Anyway, if it's numb, then you've done something serious to it. Trust me, I#m speaking from experience

Yeah, hes kinda bigger than me and he would have (fill in the rest):beat my . So , it kinda feels better but it doesnt know what i mean.
