Hello, I just cant win this race with my RM Camaro Z28. Has anyone got any suggestions on how I can win this race? Different car? Cheers

I beat this with 330 P4 Race Car it was hard but I was able to beat it the 2J was in second place riding my butt the whole time no room for error with this race.

Everytime I had to restart the 2J was always in front. In order for me to pass him I had to hit him in the first corner to pass.

This race is always going to be a handfull, unless you use the 2J, really you just have to get luck with what position on the grid certain cars start, For example, if the 2J starts near last, you need to take the chance to get into first before he does.

My advice do like me don't rush to make that event, play the game with B-Spec until it is level 21 then make the two tracks from Like the Wind event with the Formula GT its a easy win and you'll get the Toyota 7 race car change its oil and buy the stage 3 turbo and then turn on the aids so that the car doesn't slide on curves.
you don't need to do any tune it's a easy win with that car i have done it last night with just one run on both tracks.

I did it with the countach lp400 and I'm sure it's not as hard as you think (I think of myself as being pretty rubbish with my dual shock!). Just get all the mod bits, a rear wing, race softs and just set a really short gear ratio, it doesn't matter if you redline in the tunnel or on the start finish as both are easy to outbrake your opponent at the end of them. The racing line here helps you here as it's quite easy to block, maybe use a chunk of traction control if it helps and just point yourself to the inside of turn one at the start. With that short gear ratio if your brutal into that bend you should be able to come out of it in 1st. Even if your 2nd so long as the 2j isn't first you should be able to easily get up the inside at the hairpin. You need to be like the Fonz round this track, heeeeeyyyyyy!👍👍

I did it with the 2D and while it was pretty difficult, it isn't that bad as long as you get out front QUICKLY. If I wasn't out front by the tunnel I was in a lot of trouble. Practice practice, because that track is tough and it is very easy to lose ground there.

I dont remember which car I used for this race.
I do remember it was a **** pain in the ass, after a few tries I managed to crash into the 2J in the first corning, causing it to spin and become 10th or something... I finally managed to win it then

I first won it with the '63 Vette ZO6 and later won it with a '70 Challenger Race Mod.

I used the Toyota 7 race car that I won in like the wind. Cranked the top speed down so that I had enough acceleration to take the lead in turn one, them blocked the rest of the way. Still can't get Bob to finish better than 2nd though.

Won it quite easily with a tuned and upgraded Countach lp-400 that you win in one of the lambo challenges

I tried this with a TOYOTA 7 today, but I lost my nerves and gave up eventually. I should try the Countach like some of you did successfully - we'll see. BTW: My Bob is far better than I am, he did it long ago

won it with a 700+hp shelby 66'
it was the most adrenalined rushed series for me on gt5 so far XD
