Progress: Since its inception almost 30 years ago, the internet has been transformed from a primitive device for sharing thoughts and ideas, into a massive network where people pay to connect and read advertisements they don't want, while calling each other "asshats".
Her name is Mary Hansen, 2nd vocal harmony and guitar player in my favorite band, Stereolab. She's dead. In fact, she's been dead a while, but I didn't know until this past weekend. Very sad. Hard to imagine the band without her. I listened to their first album since she died for the first time last night and I missed her, but it was still awesome!
