Seriously, what is with the hitting in the US version? I'm used to playing the JP version and i would race online with them. MUCH BETTER. No hitting and if you accidentally bumped someone, we would slow down and let the person catch up, so we could be even again, instead of just taking off with an unfair tactic...It really seems like no one has respect. All I'm going to say, is that if i keep getting hit, I'm going to hit back now. It's annoying and not even fun. I've been just letting it go and I'll catch up and make a smooth pass. But, when i was doing this earlier today and about to pass a guy clean, he decides to turn into me, slamming me into the wall. That was fine, because i caught up to him on the last lap and pushed him into the grass. He came in last, i came in first. You see, if he wasn't such a douche, he could have came in 2nd or possibly first, but he had to be an a$$. What is with the US version and people doing this? Seriously, relax.

On the JP version on Suzuka circuit, I'm used to running 6:45-6:50 on Expert level PP640 avg. Online in the US version it's hard to get 7:00, because of all the hitting. That's a big time difference...

It's so much more fun if you pass when your supposed to pass. If the other person is clearly gaining on you, let him go. No reason to cut in front of them, have a clean race. If your better, you'll have plenty of other opportunities to pass. Patience is a virtue.

Really, i haven't seen one. Although, i really haven't researched. I hope it isn't locked, because i want to hear some discussion on it, rather than having to search for previous threads.

I really don't even understand why we have contact in the game at all. I do a lot of F1 races, which are generally 2-4 people, we will pass cleanly buy hitting occurs so much in the corners because you can't see....plus since there's no real damage to your car or yourself people often just turn in anyway and see what happens.

I had a suzuka race where I accidentally bumped this s2000 into a sand pit, and for the next 2 laps every turn he kept trying to ram me, often times successfully, but not enough to push me off the track. I mean christ, why can't he concentrate more on driving better and less on trying to ram me?

And I would rather you search for previous threads, there are way too many of these already.
