Hello, does anyone have a Monza circuit (not just skins) from the 2000s to 2009? I saw on videos that one exists, perhaps made by Tyrone or SimDream, but I'm not sure.
Thanks.

Hi all,
After checking online for an hour or so, I still did not find a solution for my problem.

For quite some time now, when running online races, the applicable surfaces.ini file of the track used is automatically updated, causing issues when trying to log in again on the server (track checksum error). Re-copying the track surfaces.ini always solved that for the first successive login but highly annoying, obviously.

However, now every time I enter a server it says "Ai Pit App=: Physics was not setup for this track. It has now been enabled but REQUIRES A RESTART." and fails to continue.
Restarting does not work, obviously, so I am currently stuck in offline mode :banghead:

In the past I did have the Nuzzi AI Pit App (version 4.4) installed but never used it and removed it again. Looking online, this might have something to do with it. Strangely enough, I was able to race online with the workaround described above until now.
There is also some online sources that inidicate it has something to do with \assettocorsa\system\data\surfaces.ini. Unfortunately I have no clue what values this particular surfaces.ini file should contain.

Starting with a fresh CM config did not work, so issue is in the Assetto folder itself, I guess.
Re-installing the recommended 0.2.11 CSP did not work either (previously on 0.2.12-preview1).

Hopefully someone has a clue, without racing online in AC... well, let's not go there...
nuzzi strikes again lol

I'm almost convinced he's on Studio 397's payroll as an AC library saboteur

the solution posted above (removing the appended text in surfaces.ini) indeed works on the installed track - but not always. Occasionally the checksum will still trip - and I've never found out what exactly is still happening. In that case, you need either a clean surfaces.ini or a full clean track install.

Just to clarify - the fade to slot box, can I use that only with "Timed"?. I had been building a lot of my weather plans around "Day" option.
It will work with all plan modes, but only in timed plan mode it can use the slot duration as fade time! So you can use every timed plan like a favorite weather library.

All other modes can have slots with really long durations and therefore I use the fade time = slot duration only in timed plans…

That might just be the case, yes!
After replacing my surfaces.ini file with Quark67's, I can now race online again, thanks!
An app having this effect on AC is new to me.
Never again, thanks Nuzzi!

yes, in Overtake, I ask for the same, and the answer was to replicate for some realistic function of the rear linkage for the car
The real life mini from the 60s used nothing but rubber dampers in the back. So this is someone fudging numbers to approximate the "feel".
Great, thanks. I found this geometry in this Mini and in Pessio Garage Mini.

Is there or has there been a fix for salzburgring by acReboot ? Massive holes everywhere.

Renault Sport Spider 1.1

Here is the update for the Renault Sport Spider.

I would firstly like to thank @norms & @Masscot for helping fix the known issues from version 1.0

Change Log:
  • Data file now unencrypted for those who like to tinker or have direct drive wheels etc
  • Revised engine limiter to 6800rpm as per real car.
  • Revised drivetrain, driver and ai ini
  • Mirrors are now fixed
  • Dials added to lights.ini to enable them at night
  • Number plate lights meshes now split so that black housing doesn't light up too
  • Tweaked LED display to be on at day and dimmer at night.
  • Repositioned LED display for VR
  • Added LOD_D
  • Roll cage texture baked AO
  • Revised leather texture on steering wheel
Known issues - rear blinkers wont work due to how rear lights mesh are, numberplate lights do not light up numberplate itself. Looking into fixing these.

Enjoy!

SIMPLYGON ISSUE

On a side note I've spoken to one of the managers at Simplygon whose advised they are having issues server side for their free user license registration which is casuing the problem for those who do not have a full one. They are working on it so we should have lods generation back soon(ish)
can someone please reshare it?

It should be a Nuzzi app leftover.
Here the surface.ini. I hope you can solve the issue
Thanks for this, that file was causing me so many issues on every track. I renamed it and did a few tests and found all issues had gone it's now in the trash

Sebring International Raceway (Raceday) Fast Ai
This is the third release in my Fast AI series, focused on Sebring International Raceway (Raceday).

The track quality and the existing AI are already excellent, but I felt the AI was a little too slow.
So, I've improved them to be significantly faster! Enjoy the enhanced racing experience!

The differences before and after the Fast AI patch are as follows

The test vehicles I used were the ACF LFM LMP2 and GT3. I found no issues in either single-class or multi-class racing.
Please try it out, and if you find any strange behavior or problems, let me know, and I'll fix it! :)
