Went to our local Cenotaph for 11 today only 12 people had turned up to pay thier respects.

These guys turned up at the worst lit gig i had ever been to,really wanted to gig them in the face i mean really a gopro running on the 60fps setting.

Nice shots here 👍 I especially enjoy the ones of WATIC, but that may or may not be due to the fact I have a soft spot for Tay Jardine :lol:

The race day is named in memory of Falkirk racer Alex Bruce who passed away recently, one of the most popular characters in the paddock at Knockhill. Alex’s track career started in 2005 when he took part in track days and he soon got the bug for more action and took up racing with the SMRC. His trusty 205 Peugeot progressed to a 306 and then on to Mitsubishi Evos culminating in his famous and very competitive Evo 10. Such was his passion for the sport, almost the whole Bruce family have now taken part in racing with five members of his family following in his wheel tracks.

Yeah sadly it was the case, I think you met him just after he was diagnosised but he didn't want people to know out treat him differently.

Still think about him and miss him everyday.

Passed this (coming the other way) on the M1 near Nottingham yesterday. Was on the back of a trailer with a similar coloured road version just in front. Just been to Donington? 👍

I hope not! That would mean it would be sold :( what was it towed by?
 
Don't recall what it was towed behind to be honest, think it was a van or small motorhome.

Is there one in white with a blue X too, because i might of been mistaken after noticing the blue road car with it too. Like i said, it was coming past in the opposite direction, so at motorway speeds you only see things for a second.

It was heading back north BTW :)
 
I guess so. The livery is very familiar, having seen so many of your pix over the years and watched Knockhill racing on MotorsTV - i'm convinced it was 'a' Bruce Taxis EvoX (i'm sure it even had the screen banner), i just can't recall if it was white on blue or blue on white.

Just spoke to Emma it was the white one, the guy lives new donington and was keeping the livery on it, you had me worried there :lol:

Btw will be a oulton at the end of the month if you fancy a day trip.
