Hi,

Quick question... Are there any Honda NSX turbo road cars in the game or are they all N/A? I need a new MR drift car project, preferably something turbo charged.

Thanks 👍

Haven't P.D. been dissapointing us with that one, since the very first G.T.?

No, there were never any Honda NSX that came from the factory with a turbo fitted. However, in real-life this is easily done. Unfortuneatly not in GT4. 👍

Isn't it possible, in real life, to fit every car with a turbo? Although, I personally prefer NA tuning in my cars (at least in GT4. I don't have options in real life, currently), even though the power is less. It's more predictable... (and somehow most NA sport-cars top out at 550HP+\-. NSX, Clio, and some others.

With enough money, yes.

Though I'm told that because Honda's VTEC engines' cranks rotate the opposite way, FIing them is quite tricky.

You could fit any car with a turbo but getting it to actually work could be a different matter. You could fit a turbo to an electric car but it won't do anything.

Of course, since you need money for everything.

What's FI? What are the cranks (I don't know the names of most of the mechanical parts in english...)

To answer Hot4's initial question : there are not many MR road cars in the game beside the NSXs, and most of them are small cars : ASL Garaiya, Lancia Stratos, Lotus Elises, MGs, Vauxhall or Opel Speedsters, Renault Clio V6, Tommy kaira ZZ-S...
The best for dritfing are perhaps the Lotus Esprits or the RUF 3400S (I didn't check if you can fit a turbo on them though).

The Ford RS200 is a good canidate, it's a mid-ship and turbocharged, but not RWD. She likes to slide though and there's good tuning potential. :)

Flat-out

The V8 Esprits are all turbos (V8 SE, V8 GT, Sport350)

Why stop short Famine? As far as I can remember, all of the Esprits in every GT have been turbocharged (granted, that is only two more cars than the normal V8 ones, but still).

Many thanks!!

You guys/girls are awesome, thanks heaps!!

It's a shame that the NSX doesn’t have a turbo upgrade option, it would have been sweet to hear that high-reving VTEC engine in combination with a spooling turbo.

Noobie4Ever, I'm currently using an 1997 MR2 as my midship drifter and she drifts fine, but it's time for a change. I'll have to look at some of the other MR cars you people mentioned.

Again,

Thanks and keep up the good work:tup:

If you're going MR, Flat-Outs list contains some nice ones. That Stratos will, probably, drift a little too much - but it's one of the best cars to drift stock.
