Hong Kong Cars **1st July Update** WARNING: 56k Meltdown!

It's not cheap to own a car in Hong Kong. For this reason people who have cars either have money or a passion for motoring. Today I took a peice of paper and a pen on the bus to work

This list is the result of a return bus journey of 45 minutes each way. That's 90 minutes on the bus and I saw this lot......see if you can do better!

*Best license plate of the day goes to a black Toyota Alphard G. It just read [ 50 ] Although I did see one on a Mini Cooper S the other day that read [ LE580 ] The driver was a bloke though

EDIT: Sorry, I cut and pasted the Fairlady without changing the colour. The other one I saw was blue. It looked really good, and I'm not a huge fan of the new Fairlady's styling.

The only grood cars I saw recently were on Valentine's Day, when all the young rich bastiges strut out their cars to impress them chicks. /Me saw :

and I said "I bet we dont see a car as good as that for ages"

then around the corner outside a crappy pub was a Ferari 355 Berlinetta

When I moved to Hong Kong from England I was astounded by how many nice cars there were/are. I guess it's the same with any rich city really. Have you ever been to Monte Carlo? Wow!

I'm not making it up though, BigJameGTI. It's sad enough already that I sat on the bus writing down the cars that I saw, let alone sitting infront of the computer making it up.

Tip: Come to Hong Kong for your next holiday and see for yourself!

Every day on my way to college I see a new black SL, a silver CL 600, several M3s, a couple of 911s, usually an Escort Cosworth, a new, blue Impreza WRX, a silver RX7, and (if these count as rare) a new, silver MR2, a red FTO, and several TTs. Ocaisionally there's a Supra and a Clio V6 around too. Nothing really exotic like Ferraris or Astons though.

back on topic - I think the best car that I see regularly is a Noble

but recently just near to my house 4 new houses have been built. Its not a posh area by any means where I live but the car list that blesses these two middle houses are here ....

house 1 = Porsche gt3
house 2 = one black and one yellow Lambo Gallardo !!

Very few GT-Rs, though.... Although I did actually see one a few months ago. Plenty of Lambos and Ferarris to make up for it, though.
