Get a video card that has a video in capability. I'm looking to get the ATI Radeon 8500 All in wonder sometime this summer (~160 right now). There's also the cheaper 7500 All in Wonder and the macho 9500 All in wonder. After hooking up your ps2 to your computer, just record and encode.

What do u mean by record and encode, hey plus can u play with the PS2 through the Computer, cos my mother is complaining about the PS2 's stuffing up the tv:irked:

That's only if you have the right video card. On most computers you can't plug the PS2 in and record the re-plays. But on those that can, after you record them you have to encoded them in Divx or something similar or else the movies will be like 2 gigs instead of 20 megs.

How bout if i have an GF4 MX440, with a S-VIDEO? Will that do the job? And i mean play the games through my computer, not just playing the replays and recording them, but i have another question, if i were 2 record them, what program should i b using 2 record them on?

No, that's what most cards have (only data going out). Check out the ATI Radeon 8500 All in Wonder. You can plug your PS2 into that. It has a video in, S-video in, the left and right audio channels in, S-video out, and the standard 15 pin connector thingy for monitors. It also has a TV tuner. =) I'm not trying to advertise for ATI but this is the card I'm looking at to get so it's fresh in my mind.

You can get the TV Tuner called Pinnacle PCTV. That's what I use, and it only costs $49.99. It can record TV shows and inputs that come either from composite [what the PS2 has] or S-Video [better quality than composite]

Composite is the RCA connector with the red, yellow, and white connectors.

What i'm trying to ask is: Can i actually play the PS2 off my monitor through the computer, i.e PS2->PC->Monitor->Play?
And i mean play, not just playing the replays

Yes...

Does it need any kind of program to use it for changing channels to the channel that the PS2 is running on?
Anything needed will come with whatever card you decide to get.
