Horns...why?

I find horns pretty useless. I never use it when racing, and the horn items are very "normal"...
 
I havent tried installing a horn on a car, I got about 4 of them. I do use the horn specially when I am behind a car and trying to pass him I start beeping the beeeeeeeeep out of the horn, some of them even crash LOL
 
I don't understand horns.... so far beyond useless. Such a TERRIBLE reward to get.

That was my personal hope too! So far no luck! But yes, very appropriate!
 
I only see horns useful online when you're in your Veyron or Enzo behind a guy in a Matte Pink Prius who just hogs the tight roads on Nurburgring...

Oh, right. The guy in the Prius is me. XD

No, but why go through the hundereds of them to find one to put on a particular car? How much honking do we actually do online or off? Other than accidentilly; ZILCH!

It's just one of those small touches to the game. Sure, some will never use it, but it's there.

And ya know how I feel about "small touches" (helmets/suits) or not when there's still "big-things" to be fixed like enduro saves. Put the "small-touches" on AFTER everything else works like it's supposed to.

Wuss *Cough* Anyway,

GT5 will be kept more interesting the with small updates/touch ups between big updates. If Kaz planned on only making big updates every month or so, there would be a mass that would lose interest in the game.

It's Kaz's way of saying "Hey! Check this out!" and sets off some sparklers before he fires off a missile of awesomeness.

Actually Fish he makes a very valid point there. You can't lose your fan base by only releasing major things now and then. Constant small updates keep people interested.

Off the top of my head there hasn't been anything given in updates besides what should have been (most was claimed to be) in version 1.0, or is generally useless, less a minorities amusement.

I have used one very high one for my Dodge Ram ;) Is funny if you honk with such a big car and the output is a little "meep".

My favourite Horn is the horn of the Countach 25th Anni.. (I have 80 horns or so and haven´t found it yet)
Sadly I think they included 279 Horns => some will be missing or they just used 279horns for >1000 Cars

I wanted to start building up a decent collection before I started experimenting on several different cars.

Agreed on the Countach. I forget if the horn of the LP400 sound the same, if not I prefer the LP400.

I also love my Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ's horn.
 
I hate them and they keep popping up all the time....at least give a description of what they sound like..what does horn number 47 mean?
