i'm just wondering if the hp of a car keeps going down whenever you change the oil or give it the RRP. does the hp just stay at the hp u see on the replay screen after all those?

i think the maximum power loss due to mileage after an oil change is 5%...

this is because all 4 black group c and le mans cars drop by 5% after an oil change... and they have about 30k to 60k km on them...

example:
R92CP brand new after oil change: 1001hp
R92CP black/used after oil change: 951hp (950.95)

GT-ONE new with oil change: 815hp
GT-ONE used with oil change: 774hp (774.25 GT4 rounds it)

787B new with oil change: 843hp
787B used with oil change: 801hp (800.85 GT4 also rounds it)

both hp power losses are within 0.95 of the original hp...

but this is for racing cars.. i am not too sure with the entire range of cars in GT4...

I want to know how much hp will be lost if I don't change the oil at all. I have an 04 GTO that started with 775 hp after full mods, and the virgin oil change, and after driving it 8,000 miles without an oil change, it currently has 673 hp, and it continues to drop. I just want to know how far it will drop before it levels off. (The funny thing about this car is that it is faster in the quarter mile now, than my brand new fully modded 04 GTO (775hp) with the same setup)

if you didnt change the oil at all, it will still drop by 5%...

lets say you have car with 1000hp new with no new oil...
after wear.. itll be 950hp with no new oil...

if another car had 1000hp with new oil...
after wear and new oil it will be 950hp also...

you just have to know the original hp of a car with or without new oil to know how much it will drop to after wear...

at least thats what i think... perhaps the max is 10% but what ive seen so far is only 5%... i dont think the hp will continue to drop after a certain point...

I think your theory is wrong, because now the car has 19,000 miles on it, and has 666 hp which is aproximately a 15% loss in power (still no oil change), I'm pretty sure it will jump back to 727 hp if I change the oil. I just want to know how low the power will go if the oil is never changed

I think the 15% hp that has been lost is the max that this car will lose. The car currently has 35,000 miles on it (i have been running it on the test course on b-spec at night when I go to sleep), and the hp is still at 666.
