GMC 702ci V12 "Twin 6".

GM literally stuck two 478 big block V6 engines together. Just under 300hp and 630lb-ft of torque back in early 60s.

Here's all of them but the 478 engine. V6 big blocks.

Not quite--single crankcase casting but four heads.

Chuggin' along at 2400rpm on leaded gasoline. ;)
True, but in the general scheme of things that's basically what it was.

I don't know why uploads aren't working right for me lately.
I've been having the same issue. Usually I'll copy a pic from Facebook or google and use the image tab. Lately all my images have been broken, so I've been saving them then uploading as an attachment. Quite a pain really.

Yup this is it exactly. A few other members have also mentioned that problem.

Now we're talking, a proper '79 Pinto.

A '66 Rambler here, not too shabby.

Okay, maybe not the best work, but this 'stang loooks mean as hell.

Impala '63 Hardtop, even if these wire wheels seem a bit big, don't think this is a donk.

But the color mixed with these wheels, it makes this car looking like a beaut. It feels right.

And here's my last for now.

HEMI's Vtec = secondaries
I really want to feel these side by side. 426 Hemi vs modern Hemi Vtec with the same horsepower just to compare differences.

I've been wondering how RPF1s would look on an SN95 for the longest time.

Why wonder? The RPF1 is an absolutely universal wheel. I'll bet you a set that they would look awesome even in a '32 Ford with the right track-persona. Muscle cars pull them off very well. So do small 60s european sports cars and such. I'm going to vintage extremes here, practically every modern -read, 1980 onwards- will look awesome on these.

Edit: 427 SOHC powered 56 F100
👍

That thing won untold prices for obvious reasons 👍

So, the attached belongs to a friend of mine. I've known him 13 years, and I had never heard the heart of this beast run until Saturday. It had been on a stand the whole time. 468 big block boat racing motor with functional zoomies attached to a 1965 Muncie M-21 in a '56 Nomad. Got to go for a ride in it. :dopey:

I have very picky tastes in aesthetics. Different cars have different character, and even though a wheel might 'look good' on any given car, it doesn't necessarily mean the wheel suits the car's character. At least in my mind. The Mustang has a pretty decent track racing pedigree, and the RPF1 was literally born out of racing. I'm not so sure they'd work together as well on a stock-bodied SN95, but the race-inspired aero really sets the pairing off.

I love when tires are the perfect width. Not stretched, but not overinflated balloons.

With that said, those wheels are still a sin. :odd:
