Well I think it would be a Racing Champions car then, but wait to see what the other guys say. ;)
 
I don't think Racing Champs uses screws. I have a 1991 casting on hand right now and it's riveted.

Today was my day off so here what i did.
And i discovered the easiest way to get a matte finish :p

I converted a Porsche 911 GT2 into a 911 Turbo :D

And also converted a Dodge Challenger SRT8 into 'Fast 6' Vin Diesel version. As these series are not available here in our country.

I'm curious to know what you did for the gray part on the Challenger. After laying out the silver, did you spray a transparent black/smoke over the entire body?

exactly. masked out the area I want to keep grey then just sprayed black and then pulled the tape out.
 
I'm about to strip a Nova down of its paint, but what do I need to know first?
 
Ah, that Porsche's wing looks actually pretty good.

Actually, I meant the part where the gray turned darker gray.
 
Well I'm waiting for paint stripper to finish its job on a Toyota right now. Its a great feeling to finally get some actual custom cars started instead of detail jobs. :)

Thanks mate. i've always wanted a 993 series turbo. and this is what i ended up with.

This ins't mine nor Ahmed's, Mauricio just gave us 4 or 5 of his finished cars to shoot, so we did what we could with them. But indeed, I'll ask him if he has any construction shots of the car and add them to the post later on if they indeed exist.

The thing is even more spectacular in real life. It's going to take a damned lot to beat it in the upcoming convention contest :crazy:

That chrome piece laying beside is the engine, but its too big for my idea, but I'm trimming it down to try to make it fit.
