Are those soles 'slippery' or 'sticky'? I need slippery soles so my foot stays in place so that I have better pedal control and better overall comfort when I race.

these have a tacky surface. your foot can slide but you still feel the tacky contact with the pedal. The feel is not like socks, I dont think its slower it just feels better to me, I have g27 pedals and they have the raised plastic knobs and I like the feel.

12 bucks givem a shot. they make warm house shoes regardless

I wouldn't want to wear neoprene socks...doesn't breath at all your feet would end up sweating so bad....dunno if any of you scuba dive, but it gets hot very quick when out of the water.

That's a good point about the sweating.

I use a pare of these for driving and all i did was make a couple hundred holes with a needle for my feet to breath. Works great
