How’s your racing status?

I've been doing pretty good. I think my status should be "good" if we are using a scale of terrible - excellent, I'm not sure since you didn't clarify the ranking system we are using.

Lol! Well my SR rating always maintains at S status, but my drivers rating, goes from B to D real quick, depending on race track lol
 
haven't had much time to race. I put a bunch of time in the Beta getting my SR to A but on the actual game currently I'm still at B. I've been able to do 3 races without touching anybody so I should be fine.
 
SR slowly rising up to A and hopefully S soon (now I’m clear of the demolition derbies of SR-B and below. My DR is currently B but I tend to just circulate round at the back if I get any whiff of anyone punting me or I make a mistake, which sadly happens too much for my liking!

I’m having difficulty getting back my DR to B status lol. The competition is real!

I’m such a bipolar driver, win a race comfortably (GT3 manufacturer event at brands) then race like an absolute noob for 2 races after! The ratings system is an absolute grind for me at the easiest of times!!

Absolute noob ahahahahaha! GTS is great tho. Hopefully GTS drops the new update tomorrow

I was a DR C/SR A until the cup races started. A was no cleaner than B for me. Now I am down to DR D/SR B, and I am not willing to just drive around in the back to raise my SR, that is to boring, I just race as clean as I can with the people around me and don't care about my ratings anymore, they will be what they are.
 
I’m B/S and seem to have settled there. I enjoy driving the daily Gr.3 races whenever it’s a decent track. If it’s an oval I skip that day, I just find them dull and pointless. I miss having more real life tracks, I really enjoy Nurb GP for example.

I notice that for me I won’t start racing until I am at most 2-3 secs off the top 10 times to avoid starting last off the grid.

Generally most races are clean enough to enjoy. So all in all having a pretty good time most of the time.
 
Got my rating up to BB which is sweet, but I'm not actually that good, so :D.

The event structure has made me manic and ruined my sense of time. However, the driving is great. For as much as I quietly rage and lament over the content and some design aspects I just can't stop playing.

Your DR - B or SR - B?
 
Finally got A (DR) tonight, grinded it out, should have got it 2 races ago but I've got this bad habit of when I'm miles in the lead going for world record laps and binning it lol..

Hoping to get maximum points now in the nations cup and manufacturers!
 
I am a Grandfather and a horrible driver. I got my PS3 for the grandkids to play when they visit. I got hooked on GT6 and it is the game that got me on the road to racing the AIs. I am on meds that really affect my reaction time. However, I enjoy GTS and competing in the AI races. I know I will never compete in the online races. I did the same with GT6 and was OK with doing the AI races in it, too. I no longer am able to race in GT6 as my PS3 died and have been waiting for GTS to come out. I know my limitations and will never compete in online races. I don't want to be the kind of driver that participates in a race and knocks out other racers.

My racing is not plateauing yet, still getting better and more consistant in most races...but plenty of room for improvement still. I'm glad this game is getting me into racing more - and not just more levels to grind.

I am DR D SR S atm, and noticed the races got dirtier once I reached S, after spending weeks at SR B, one day at SR A, I expected SR S to be squeaky, but maybe it is just sneaky (lol rhyme). Last night my manufacturer race in the GTR ended up 17th/ 19, after Qualy of 15th, I moved up a few places, but got some gentle precision nudges off the edge of the track when people were passing, too perfect to be accidental. Was surprising that There were some DR S to DR D in my FIA races, when I was SR B and SR A I had nothing but DR D most races, occasionaly one or two racers that were one DR level above me. I guess lack of people racing late night FIA races at the time who fit my category compared to DR D SR B!

I wish there was an easy way to apologise for the occasional accidental rear end when someone brakes earlier than expected! Everyone leaves the lobby so quick.

Use players met it tells you which race and players met, I used this for the reason you're asking I hit them in corner I waited until they got in front of me before going forward ( then got a 10 sec penalty)

Don’t worry about apologizing honestly. Like you said, I’ve noticed the higher in the ranks you get the more aggressive people are. They don’t know how to pass properly and know how to game the system so you lose sr when they hit you. And as far as rear ending them, it’s most likely because you got brake checked. Just speaking out of experience. I am a DR-B with probably 1 or 2 more races to be an A and an SR-S and it’s only gotten worse as far as how dirty people are. The only good thing is people are faster and it’s more fun for me. I’ve made top ten in the qualifications a few times and people don’t care if you’re faster they will just block you out or reared you off track.

Same here, yesterday in the manufactures cup I qualified 11th, during the opening laps I was so racked with nerves I forgot to feather the throttle, two powerslides later am down 5 places. Then I drive like a mad man and begin making up time, by the time the race is over I nearly set the fastest lap and I win back the places I lost (nearly overtaking 10th in the final corner) and finish in the position I started. If I could race like that from the beginning of the race I would be finishing in the top 7 or even top 5, but I always mess it up. Hopefully when I switch to a wheel later this year my times and nerves will improve.
 
Only done 6 races so far, with Top 4 finished in all, 3 wins :). Currently sitting ad DR D / SR C. Was SR B until after last race where I was constantly being punted and dropped to C. Still a fun race, but the least clean of them all. First 5 races were mostly clean and fun.

Schedule has been really busy for me so not much time for practicing and racing, but I hope work settles down a bit soon so I can get some more miles under my belt :)
 
Almost B/S. I can't even see what's left on the DR bar because it's all white. Time will tell if I can reach A in DR; at the moment I'm not very consistent outside of Gr.3 and Gr.4 racing. The i3 race yesterday was a disaster for example. Slow driving is not really my cup of tea.
 
I’m currently DR A and SR S and have recently been posting times in the top ten on the leaderboards. I’ve been having so much fun these past few days at this level of play. Still have some idiots here and there but so far so good. Mostly gr4 for me.
