rollaznYes - I understand if you do not use a room you wouldnt have to clean it as often. But it is common sense that if you have a larger house - it's going to be more difficult to clean. Example if you are moving out of the house its going to be much more difficult in a bigger house to clean up than a smaller house. Im sure if you had a mansion, it would be harder to clean than a little apartment.
Ok, when you take it to the extremes you got it right. But I've been living in both this size as now, a little more than 200 ft2 and also apartments in the size about 800 ft2 and from my excperience it is more work with cleaning a 200 ft2 apartment.
But it mabye has to do with the fact that I live alone, when I'm in a bigger ap. it gets dusty very slow. And also that I can be quite picky about dust so I give my 200 ft2 ap. a full cleaning about every fifth day. The case for my observation can also be that when I lived in bigger apartments it was outside the central town or in a smaller town, and currently my birdnest is centrally located in a big town and are much more exposed to traffic pollution etc.. That has probably a lot to do with it too. You could be right.
