How can I go to the first post in a topic and not first unread post? Sometimes I want to go to the first post like the GT6 tuning directory rather than go to the first unread post.

When there are new replies and you click the thread title, it takes you to the new posts. If you go back to the Tuning sub category and click the thread title again, it will then take you to the first post.

I never want to go to the first unread post in that topic though. Can't an option be added to our preferences or make page 1 a visible number in addition to the last two page numbers when looking at the topic title?

GTP's way: I have no option to get to the first page or post.

In the 2nd pic I have the option to click page 1 and the last page. On GTP I don't have that option. Or perhaps you can make to where you click the topic title and you go to the OP while also having an option to go to the first unread as well as the last two pages of the topic.

Thanks for the suggestion but using a bookmark to see the 1 post of a topic is a workaround for a broken forum. This is the first forum I have been to that doesn't let me get to the first page of a topic if I am logged in.

I agree it's not ideal, but that's the way it works for now. It's something I'm looking to change in the future.

I agree with the OP, but only because I spend most of my time in the Tuning Section and the OP is where tuners/ testers go most often. I can deal with this though, all you do is click the thread title, then choose page one when the thread opens

I find this a problem too as i often use the tuners page & want to view the first page not the first unread one. Nice to know that your looking at changing it in the future:)
