The problem is, as Heydu predicted, the ZZII is running SO many non-"normal" parts, and doesn't have the "normal" equivalents. I tried to graft on the Ruf RGT normal parts for the relevant components - according to the settings screen this has worked, but it isn't allowed to enter PD Cup or Trial Enduro.

The back-up plan is to basically get another standard road car and change the body, chassis, engine and settings to that of the stock ZZII. If you'd like me to do that, it'll take about 20 minutes.

Looks to me like lines 12 and 512 have changed according to the one I brought in from MK's.

If you head into mk's, one of the lines states "Road" or "Race", yes?

Hit F8 to change display mode. You'll see that "Road" corresponds to 00000000 00000000 and "Race" corresponds to 00000001 00000000. Just swap 'em. Hit Enter and click OFF the square (if you don't, it doesn't seem to change...). Hit F8 three times to cycle back to Road or Race. Ta-daa!

I have crossed this bridge in the past with the "normal car delema. I was doing it for the Miata enduro. It seems that switching parts even if a "normal" part is still an infraction and U can't enter the race. I tried even putting normal parts from one Miata on another, and could not get in.

Famine, if U haven't tried it already, try taking the ZZ2 that U swaped in the normal parts on and remove the values for the fittness lines and see if that helps.

I know for that Roadster enduro, I just wound up building a hybrid Miata.
