Reach A-Spec lvl 40 and the regular one is available in the premium dealership for 20 million credits (there are a ton of different colors for it) and at this level the Vettel challenge is unlocked in Special Events. This is a three race event (2 laps each) where you drive the Red Bull X2010 S.Vettel in a time challenge. Getting bronze overall gets you an S.Vettel (which I just did, now I have two S.Vettels...)

Reaching B-Spec 35 gets you an X1 automatically and I believe B-Spec 30 also unlocks the Vettel challenge.

Beat the vettle events at level 30 a spec. Reach level 35 b spec or get to level 40 a spec and buy one for 20 million dollars. Hope this helps:)

^ Be prepared for a 🤬 load of swearing if you take the first option, especially @ Susaka. I finally got mine the day before yesterday on what felt like my trillionth attempt.

The Vettel challenge is not that bad (I use DS3). Getting bronze on the first two races is rather easy - Suzuka was a bit harder but I did it in about half an hour. Too bad I only got a second S.Vettel.

I have no idea why people are so fascinated with the Vettel. Personally, it has to be the most boring car. Most people who knows how to drive in GT5 could care less about this car.

Maybe you should make a poll to prove that statement.

For the people that got bronze or higher it's a feeling of achievment to get a Vettel car from the challenge. I had traded for a few of them because the challenge really frustrated me. When PD upped the times for bronze I was able to get bronze on all three tracks and I got a Vettel of my own that I'm proud of. I'm kinda ashamed I traded for those cars. They are like the red headed step child in my garage :dopey:

For the next patch, I would like the ability to prevent the Vettel from entering a race. Yes, the host can kick people off but it's a waste of time doing it. Seems like guys who take the Vettel into an online race just want to show off. lame.....

Personally, I respect those players who drive with no driving aids and win races! That's pure driving talent!

It amazes me how they drive so fast and without driving aids during an online race.

How about the X2010 Prototype or the regular one? :p

The X2010 does require skill by the way. Fast reflexes too. :)

hahaha!!

Just FYI, at Vettel challenges, Bronze gives you a Sebastian Vettel X2010, Silver a colored X2010 and Gold a Carbon Prototype X2010.

When you reach level 35 you get another Sebastian Vettel X2010.

Hm.

Apologies if this has been answered before, but: do you specifically have to be level 40 in A-spec to buy it from the dealership, or is B-spec OK?

(I'll most likely hit 40 in B-spec first.)

Either one 👍

Either one. I hit L40 B-spec some time ago, and I've bought nearly all the X2010 colors at the dealership (via rubberband grinding). My A-spec level is still 39, but was at 27 when I started buying X2010s at the dealers.

Hit L30 and the Vettel Challenge opens up.
Hit L35 B-SPEC (haven't heard anyone getting one for L35 A-spec) and you win one outright.

ETA: Thanks Cali - looks like L35 A-spec will win you one as well. I *can* verify that you don't win one each time you hit L35; you get it the FIRST time you hit 35, either A- or B-, apparently.

Hit L40 either A- or B-spec, and you buy them at the dealers.
Win the Vettel challenges and win one.

Boring?
That X2010 makes my eyes wide open. Because of it intense speed and control.
At least for me. :p

Back to the topic...

Yeah, you can won by Vettel Challenge or B-Spec Level 35. Or trade.

Pop down to your local BMW dealer?
