Well, I agree with you about all the glitchiness of the game, but I strongly stand behind what I say about the amateur / professional / simulation settings. They work just as the game says they work, for the appropriate wheels. Blaming the games glitchiness as a base for your/others argument here in regards to these settings is just weak, in my opinion. I have tested, tested, and tested some more and see no differences in regards to these settings working with the wheels for which they are not intended for.

The sensitivity thing I will however back off of as far as my original thoughts on that go. I did do more testing with this and I'll just say that I am willing to give the claim that the sensitivity settings work with steering wheels the benefit of the doubt.

I agree with the Amateur / pro / sim settings, after extensive testing I found they do not make any difference for Logitech G-series and DF series wheels.

The control sens I'm not too sure about, when I do go from -2 to 7 it does feel.. less twitchy? on -2 and more responsive and twitchy on 7, but it does not actually change the degree of wheel turn or how fast the wheels turn, just how responsive and twitchy the wheel feels. Well, that is how it feels to me, though it could be all in my head.

I thought the steering was linear in GT. You turn the wheel in front of you, the wheels turn in the game.

I was posting about the adjustment is for keeping the car in a straight line, like ex: Codemasters games. Wheels should stay at default.
