How do I change to "Simulation" setting with DFGT wheel?

When I first installed GT5 I remember a screen allowing me to choose "Professional" or "Simulation", and also to pick my Force Feedback settings. I chose the defaults which I think might have been an "Amateur" type setting (because I'm driving better than I think I should be for a newbie) and 5 for FF. Now I can't find anywhere in the options to allow me to change these settings. Can anyone point me to where the option screens are to change these settings? I'm using a DFGT wheel.
Also, what is the difference between "Professional" and "Simulation"?

Back all the way out to the original menu and go to settings and scroll down to steering wheels and I believe it's in there somewhere. I think there's general settings for all wheels. Is that to vague? :)

Professional and Simulation modes don't apply to DFP or DFGT. It's just the force feedback level and maybe something else. Put FF at 10 and you should be good 👍

With FF at anything above 5, you will saturate the FF, so small forces will be very strong but then very strong forces will be also very strong. The motors can only supply so much force, you will lose lots of detail in the feel as there is then very little difference between gripping tyres and tyres starting to slip.

If you keep it low you will detect that change easily, thus keeping on the limit better and not ruining your tyres too much.

With my experience (DFP), FF at 5 cut everything in half. The small forces were there and they were small, but the big forces were also small. At 10 it feels much more realistic, and the small forces are still there, albeit not as noticeable.

It is actually possible to select between the three modes Amatuer, Pro' and Sim' - I've got a DFGT wheel set to Simulator (makes it proper difficult :))

As posted by "Ratel" go all the way back to the main screen and select settings. Scroll down to the wheel setups and the left most menu entry for wheel settings gives you these options aswell as the FF settings.
