How do I mirror one side to the other?

I have searched for the option to do this, but have had no luck...

The reason I ask is because I heard on a PlayStation Access YouTube video that it was there!

When you are editing a layer there is a black icon with a rectangle and a gear, if you click it you will see options to duplicate the layer on the same side or mirror duplicate

You can't mirror the entire car, only one decal at a time.

On the Decal screen click on the item you want to mirror then click X for OK so you get the normal paint, adjust and "Finish Editing Layer" buttons.

The second button from the left called "Layer Controls" has an option for Duplicate On Reverse which will put it on the other side of the car, it also works if say you put a sticker on the corner of the front bumper in Front view and want it on the other side of the panel.

I've got into the habit of mirroring each decal as I place them, then you dont end up with a massive amount to do at the end.
Saves the confusion of missing one, plus its less button presses than if you go back and do each from the list.
It also makes the order of them in the list a lot easier to work out if you do want to change something later

I agree, and I do the same. Just wish it worked to group layers.. and see where you place them (x&y) and the obvious size and rotation of your decal.
Impossible to place stuff accurate without first making some sort of placement grid.

I agree, it definitely need grouping.
Regarding co-ordinates, they would be very handy too, in the meantime its just a case of using bit of the car to reference stuff

I was more or less doing the same, although I tended to focus on getting any stripes made as a batch then mirroring them all at the end once I was certain I was happy with it.

Then moving onto the next colour of stripe or the decals and then mirroring each one individually as I added them.

There are a few tools like grouping and the ability to use the decals as a punch or cutout which would make things a lot easier and more effective.
