Whoa there, calm down, you gotta give people time to reply. One post would suffice.

Go check the email addy you registered with to activate your account. This is required before you can post replies/threads in forums other than this one.

Welcome to GTP

And Take Your Caps Lock Key Off.

As Boundary Layer says, you need to activate your account using the link that was sent to you at the email address you gave when you registered.

And please, don't put the first letter of every word in capital letters. It can be rather distracting and harder to read.

The capital letters have been put in by VB. As I believe Duke was trying to say, he wrote his post all in CAPS.

As for email. When you registered, you would have been asked to enter a valid email address 7AGECOROLLA. Check the inbox or junkmail folder of the email address you submitted.

3 cases:

  1. He could've put in a consumable email address, and he can't verify the registration.
  2. He used his parent's email account for this, but he doesn't know the password for it.
  3. He could be plain drunk, and not know squat about where to find anything.

Looking at his grammar, and his username, he's probably a good candidate for #2.

He even pressed caps lock when entering his user title:eek: Plus the user details:dunce: Except for "Male" but I bet he didn't type that one:sly:

I found this a pretty stupid thread anyways:
A user, posting that he cant post anything....? But I guess thats........normal:scared:

He can't post in the normal forum, like the main GT4 forum, the Rumble Strip, etc. He can still post in the Site Feedback forum even if he hasn't confirmed his email address. That's why his title says "Registered User", not "New Member".

None of us really mean it, but it's just a little odd/silly that you can't check you own mail. We are trying to help too so it would be a good idea to say if DQuaN's idea worked.

And again, please keep your finger off the CAPS LOCK key, otherwise you will get told off...

Don't worry, it caught out Famine a while back too. ;)

7AGECOROLLA, The solution is SIMPLE.

  1. You go get a hotmail/yahoo or other free email account.
  2. Change your email address in your profile to that account
  3. Verify your account that way by clicking the link that's sent to you.
  4. Done..

I hate to be a jerk, but if that's too much to handle then perhaps you should gain some more knowledge about being online before continuing.

Even I sussed all this stuff out on my own and I'd only been on-line about a year when I joined up????

Not bad for a thirty year old who'd only ever used games consoles. :dunce:
