You'll have to excuse him. He's quite slow.

"How do you get through Death Row?"

"I have tried and tried but I just can't do it. Will someone tell me how they got through it, please."

"It's a mission in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City"

Now all we need is someone to walk him through this mission because he is a.) too lazy to do it himself or b.) too lazy to do it himself.

Ok get the magnum and shot every body........Then soon as you get Lance, Use the Health and armer cheat........The get the sentinal on the left side of the junk yard and go and take the fastest route through LH then go straight into downtown........REWARD I THINK IS $50,000

once you kill DIAZ you get his house!!!!!!!!

how do u shoot them from the chopper and ware is this sentinal u speek of

i didn't ask for u to be rude and it is kind of hard to see a car when every mofo'n cubin shooting at u

Or to do it the non cheating way....

Before you start mission steal cop cars and get the shotty, or go to ammunation and buy it. Anyway you need a lot of shots.

Get a car, you know at the beginning when the three cubans are standing at the entrance using the car as a block?? Run your car right into the "block" car at it's rear wheels. This will cause it to spin and kill the three people. Then continue to drive making that right turn, where three or four more will be coming out of a gap on the right. Run them over. At this time you'll most likely have to hop out of your car because it's going to blow up. So do so. Stand around using the R1 Shooting tecnique and kill the sniper's. Run around the silo conveyer belt sor of thing and kill the two gaurds gaurding the building lance is in. Again use the R1 technique. Run inside the building kill that guy then talk with lance. I think a couple more guys come out, just kill them. If you are facing from where lance is sitting to the outside of the "house" then there is a sentinel sitting on the left outside part of the "house", go get into it. You should have killed every so start driving out, DON'T GO COMPLETELY OUT. Stop right at the entrance/exit to the dump and wait for the game to say the diaz's men are chasing you. You might have to inch forward a bit. Once this is said then you'll be able to see three or four comet's (the porsche looking cars) let them drive down the road until they are quite close to you, then make your escape. You should be able to drive right by them. Then just drive your way to the hospital. If you are a half decent driver then you'll be able to do this without any threat of the three or four comets. And then you have beaten that mission.

The R1 technique I was revering to is that when you have the shotgun or revolver if you hit R1 you focus on the people. Well focus shot 1 one shot unfocus focus again. You automatically focus on another person. If you do this right and effectively you should be able to get through the mission without getting shot alot. Anyway you might want to practive up on some civilians first.

There you have it in as much detail as I could manage, oh and this is how I did it, and it did take me a couple of tries to get it down. Why did you just give up and come ask here?

Don't cheat..... that ruins the game. Anyway, I just used an uzi and shot all the cubans and ran back to my car after getting to Lance. Its really easy actually.

Here is what I did. I got a car and rammed through that little car block they had. Then I bailed from the car, and ran to Lance. On the way I shot whomever was in my way. Then I would shoot the two gaurds of the building Lance was in. Then I shot the big guy you had to take out. Then I ran to the Trash Master that was in the junkyard. Then I just rammed through the everything, and the cars that where chasing me had no impact. Then I got to the hospital. The gun I used the whole time was that Uzi.

That's if you actually care about the plot. ;) This is where the "cheaters" differ from the "non-cheaters". I've always been more interested in the visual aspects of games rather than spending time playing it. I copied tons of great (and terrible) games just to look at the virtual world created. Back then I was an aspiring (and desperately useless) CGI artist, so it was just neat to look around as I ran through the different levels.

GTA3/GTA:VC changed all that. Now I just cheat to find more areas to kill people. I'll still spend hours a day running from the cops, shooting, doing whatever, but I get frustrated spending 20 minutes doing a lame mission 3 or 4 times just so I can "unlock" the helicopter. For me, the plot gets in the way of my enjoyment. I still bought the game, I still play, I just play my way.

I guess the best argument would be: If you're so opposed to cheating, tell the GT1/2/3 hybrid makers to revert their cars back to spec. :D

Several people have told you how they beat death row, do you want someone to come to your house and do it for you? The thread has taken on a life of it's own, it out of your hands now...

My take on cheating in VC:
I sit down, play with no cheats until I'm tired with the plot or distracted by something I'd like to try, then I save and bust out the codes. My savegame isn't affected and I get the cool cheatin' stuff too! :D

So what's the deal km, are we done with this thread? You finish Death Row yet or what? If not, what's the dilly-yo?!? And by 'dilly-yo', I mean problem.

And by problem he means 'deal with you not having enough sense to figure this out for yourself like so many other people have.'

Right?

been working havent had time to get to it

so what gun did u guys use more in the mission the shot gun or the usi

thank u to everyone that helped i just flew in there took out my shotgun i allmost lost lance he had a sliver of health left took the sental when to the front of the dump and took the chopper the rest of the way

I used the MP5, because so many people have it, so I just picked it up and used it. Then I drove Lance out of the junkyard using the garbage truck. That thing doesn't get pushed around by ANYBODY, and it also takes a hell of a beating!
