How do you get Chrome and Matte paints?

I see all these people trading Chrome and Matte paints, but the only Matte Paints I've gotten are from owning X number of cars. Is there some easy way to get these that these guys are using?

every 30, 60, 90 {and so} cars you have in your garage you get a horn and matt/chrome paint , in order to get the chrome when it comes up on screen you recieve horn number and matt paint DO NOT accept quit the game and restart, when you restart you will come to that again giving you a different horn and paint repeat this til you get the chrome

I should try this myself next time I get 30 more cars. I just got another 30th car earlier today...

not 100% sure but if you sell down to you have 29 it may work but check with someone off here first mate dont take my word on that 👍

i did read it.
you don't get a horn for every 30. you get a horn at every 10.

that's why i said "somewhat".

Sorry, but ik got it in 1 attempt . But matte black isn't that bad, i only have 2 matte paints and there both the same, The matte SLS Dark silver(don't know th e name) and "just" matte silver.

horn every 10 well am quite sure most of us have figured that out by now

Well if you got patience, you can cheat the game a bit if you really want x color, when you get the 30th car if it is not the color you want just quit the game wo clicking ok. Start the game again wait 5 minutes or so.....goto home and when you enter boom you get a paint for your 30th car, lather, rinse, repeat until you get the chrome or matte color you want.

Not terribly speedy especially if you are unlucky, but it works if you have patience.

You want to know why ?
Because the OP question is "Where can I get the Chrome paint ?"

And yet, your best anwser, was something like that :

i have no idea where the Chrome Paints come from.

Not even mentionning the fact that since thousands of kids got their copy of GT5 for xmas, the question poped up like 20 times or more on this forum, and a simple search would get you the answer right away.
