I usually go with 10 and 2 when doing high speed cornering. Otherwise, left hand at 10, right hand on knee, activating/deactivating OverDrive(on the shifter). Sometimes I get cocky and drive with 1 hand at the bottom of the wheel, but my hand gets tired that way.
And no, I don't go gangsta and hold my hand at noon, leaning back in the seat.
Most of the time when I drive I'm showing my skills and acting as if I'm the ultimate racer, so I have the seat back as far virtical as it can go, sitting hard against the seat, left foot on the wheel well part(piece right by the door hinge, hard to explain, but it's where I should have a foot rest) well planted, and right food "in the hole"(my driver's floormat has the heel part warn down to the rubber, from my dad, and I'm constently looking for a better floor mat in the junkyards, but no grey driver's side ones yet) ready for gas or brake.
