How do you look around inside the cockpit?

I have seen videos pics etc.. of people looks around to the left, right, up and down inside the cockpit. How do you do it?

Stupid question I know but I cant figure it out.

I think it's that head tracking thing.
You need a Playstation Eye for it.

You use the right analog stick (as long as it is configured for it) but can only do in arcade mode. They stated that they had to take it out of GT Mode to save RAM or something like that.

i have it on my right stick
but only left and right works

no it works also in GT mode

Yup, I have been using it in GT mode/online/ arcade for a couple weeks now. You have to manually set it in options to the right analog.

If you set the right analog stick to look around you can look left and right. Interstingly in a pitstop the left analog stick controls looking left and right

I can look around my cockpit (on the X axis) using the right thumbstick in ANY mode except B-Spec.

Though they ruined it since it work since it worked when looking backwards in GT5p but only forward in GT5.

I'm not sure if you've got a sixaxis or a wheel. I have a sixaxis. With a sixaxis, several different buttons will do the trick. I put my R2 and L2 buttons to look left and right. It has a variable motion too (if you push partially, it only looks partially).
