How good are the video web cams

I mean, the ones that you put over your monitor, we call it the "eye". Anyways, how good are the cheap ones. $50? Are they worth it? Or not.

if so i got one for 25$usd but it only supports resolutions of 320*240 , but it also has low quality but if you dont plan on useing it for major motion pictures, or dont care about size, the get a veo connect or veo advanced connect for 30$usd, but thats only from what ive seen at the best buy up here

Best Buy sells some at $30? Sweet. I mainly need it for some proof of my records, chatting, and some pictures from me.
